A coworker recommended this place to me when I asked about where I could get a really good burrito. This is exactly what I mean when I say I want a super burrito! I got the carne asada super burrito, and it was great! Some might find it a little on the salty side, but overall the meat was prepared well, and the portions are generous! i also ordered a burrito bowl with carne asada and it was also very good. It went great with the fresh corn tortillas! I will be going back!

We live a little far away from this place but it’s worth the trip every single time. The food is delicious and authentic . This is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant.The staff is always so kind and makes sure you feel welcomed and taken care of. They have different board games in each table so you can play while you wait on your food. Our kids love it here and constantly ask us to bring them back truly can not say enough good things.

6 years in Woodland and I’ve been on a constant hunt for a great burrito. There’s a great place at the North end of Davis (Taqueria Guadalajara) but their consistency in quality has dropped significantly the last year or so. This place…
One bite into my pastor super burrito and my eyes lit up and I about fell out of my chair. Absolutely delicious!! Possibly the best pastor flavor I’ve had, and it’s my go-to when available. The ingredients were fresh, too. What really sets it off is the depth of flavors. It was a good-sized burrito and I just could not stop, well past my stomach told me to stop.
My wife was also quite happy with her burrito bowl. The grilled chicken was cooked nicely, and had a good, grilled flavor (chicken is so often overdone and bland – not here!). I tried it, shortly after I gave up on trying to finish my burrito, and one bite was not enough. I took 5 despite anything my engorged stomach had to say about it.
After fighting with my picky 7 y.o. for 15 minutes about trying his bean burrito from a new place, once he took that first bite it was game over and his (half of a) burrito didn’t stand a chance.
The tortillas are made in house. The chips are not free, but they are cooked to order (and yummy)! The red salsas were great. The yellow-ish one that came with my burrito – Initial reaction trying it with chips, a little strange and not so good. Trying it on my burrito (which it accompanied) – actually pretty good.
The gentleman who took my order was friendly and kind, however there was a young woman (who I got the impression worked there) on a video call with speakerphone on at the table directly in front of the counter – not the best look. Also, the venue, while neat and clean, is lacking in decor and ambiance. I’d start with some not-too-loud background music, as it was suuuuper quiet (which did not help the case of chatty Cathy). Well, anyway, I’m here for the food (and doing takeout)!
My family looks forward (maybe not the 7 y.o.) to trying some of the other menu items, though it might be hard for me to break away from that amazing burrito. See you soon!

I brought my family here and we all enjoyed our meals very much. Delicious food and wonderful service. Miguel is so genuine and loves his food, shares stories about his mother’s recipe and clearly loves sharing her food and story! The birria and chile relleno burritos were delicious! We will happily be back. Next time I need to try the breakfast menu! Chilaquiles!!!!

Food was delicious and good prices. The hand made tortillas hit the spot. Everything was delicious. Horchata was more like drinking a can of evaporated milk but maybe next time I won’t get the horchata.

The food and people here are awesome! Everything was fresh and flavorful and it’s probably one of the best Mexican restaurants in woodland, certainly top 3. Handmade tortillas! Chile Relleno Burrito was amazing. Tomatillo salsa is excellent. The gorditas are small but delicious. The tacos de papa are really good, but eat them quick or get the cabbage on the side so they don’t get soggy. The coffee is sooooo good. It has piloncillo in it already so it’s sweet enough. The homemade horchata is divine. Can’t recommend them enough! Please go support them!

We enjoyed a nice lunch outside on their outdoor seating area. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We ordered quesabirria tacos, tacos al pastor, and potato tacos, all of which were excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality Mexican food.

For a real authentic experience this is a must try place. The food is absolutely wonderful with every bite. I had no idea this place was here, I found it after leave the Antique store next door.
My husband had the Birria Plate and it was mouth watering good.
I had the Tacos Dorado de Papas and it was so DELICIOUS
The corn tortillas are homemade and tasted so good with the Birria. Excellent place with excellent service.

PURR EMOTION
We were on a roadtrip when we happened to drive by the area. It happened to be a holiday, and every restaurant had shut down for the day. We saw an open sign at this 11:11 restaurant and decided to give it a try. When we walked into this place, we were not expecting the bright pink, cheery, vibe we were welcomed with. The aroma was already a good sign. But also, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and so helpful with explaining dishes. The restaurant was had 4 tables eating so we were able to check out what was coming out of the kitchen right before we ordered. The woman in the kitchen (whoever she was) really knew a thing or two. Let me tell you -THEIR TORTILLAS ARE MADE FROM SCRATCH AND THEY MELT IN YOUR MOUTH. The flavor of their meat is on point. And the cabbage, cilantro, onions and salsa were all extremely fresh. We felt so lucky that the holiday had led us to this place! 10/10. Highly recommended. And, now every time we drive by Woodland, we always always stop by to grab some tacos and burritos and always make sure we get a few extra for the following day at home 🙂
