We decided to try Emma Elle’s for lunch; only one person in our party had been there before.
We arrived around 1:00 PM, and the restaurant was fairly busy. We were seated within five minutes, and our waitress came over promptly to take our order. However, it took about 20 minutes for our bread to arrive, which felt like a long wait. That said, we appreciated the gluten-free bread option, and both breads were excellent. The dip was great, and the balsamic tasted like a high-quality aged balsamic vinegar.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience went downhill. Our food did not arrive for another 30 minutes. One family member ordered a pizza, which didn’t come out until nearly everyone else had finished eating about 10 minutes later. I ordered the lasagna, and while the bolognese sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had, the dish was served lukewarm on a cold plate. After just a couple of bites, it was completely cold.
The chicken on the penne vodka was dry, leathery, and extremely overcooked, and the shrimp on another penne vodka dish was the same. The vodka sauce itself was good, but the long wait and temperature of the food really detracted from the meal.
The entire lunch took over an hour, which makes this place unrealistic for a workday lunch. I also never received a refill on my water, and no one checked on our table to ask how the food was. Overall, this was extremely disappointing because the experience really could have been so much better. The atmosphere is great, and the food has potential, but the execution fell short. As shown in the photo, most of our plates were nearly finished while my dad was still sitting there without his food.

Emma Elle’s is easily some of the best Italian food in OKC. The dishes taste authentic and full of flavor — you can tell there’s real care put into every recipe. Portions are generous, the pasta is fresh, and everything comes out perfectly seasoned. It’s one of those places that feels like a true Italian dining experience without being over the top. Decently authentic, consistently good, and honestly, arguably the best Italian spot in the city.

Everyone was very friendly and food was Awesome. My Server Kanlie was very attentive and made sure I didn’t need anything. Before I needed any she was there.

Out waitress was delightful and efficient. Our entrees were good but not that memorable. The oatmeal cream pie dessert was though. Yummm. The atmosphere is very bright and open which I love, but the lack of any soft materials creates a very loud and distracting environment.

First time in OKC and have been here for a week. This is the best food and service I have had since arriving. Great service and accommodations. The spicy bolognese is amazing and not too spicy so you can fully enjoy it! Will be coming again before I leave.

Food was delicious. I had mama’s lasagna and it was excellent. Portions were generous! Staff was nice and knowledgeable and our table server was great. My only complaint would be that we had a twenty minute wait for a table when there were more tables open in the restaurant than taken. I wasn’t sure exactly why but it appeared to be a staffing issue and we were there at an odd time (3pm). Either way it is easy to overlook bc that lasagna is awesome. I can’t wait to try the bolognese!

Gluten free Italian for the win!!! No up charge for gluten free substitutions is amazing and everything was amazing. Reasonable pricing too. Just about everything on the menu can be made gluten free, even the free table bread! Will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in the heart of Oklahoma City, Emma Elle’s Italian Kitchen is the place to go. We loved it from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is super cozy and perfect for enjoying a great meal with friends or family.

We started with a delicious pizza, with a crispy crust and fresh toppings that made it amazing. Then we tried the Chicken Alfredo pasta, and wow, it was so good! The Alfredo sauce was smooth and creamy, paired with juicy chicken—a perfect combo.

We also got some fried calamari, and they were a hit. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a homemade marinara sauce that was top-notch.

For drinks, we were surprised by the “Grandma’s House” sodas, which are a unique touch. They’re like an artisanal soda, super refreshing and different from anything else you’ll find around the city.

And for dessert, we couldn’t resist trying the cheesecake with blueberry sauce and the chocolate cheesecake. Both were the perfect ending to an incredible meal, with the blueberry cheesecake being light and delicious, and the chocolate one being rich and decadent.

If you’re craving quality Italian food, with a relaxed vibe and great service, Emma Elle’s is a must-visit. Definitely don’t miss it!

I usually love this place. Today’s service was honestly some of the worst I’ve ever had. We sat for fifteen minutes before the server Andrea came to take our order. She went to a different table within 2 minutes of them sitting down.. actually not joking I watched the time. Once we ordered the server said “We are actually past the lunch special time” which I did not once hint by my order of pasta and salad that is what I want. The bread that was served to our table was a 4th of best it usually is and burnt on the bottom. My sister ordered their equivalent of Dr Pepper and it tasted like a sno-cone syrup and she suffered through and drank it because the server came to our table so infrequently. My sister was very polite. And when asked for a refill, she said, may I try something different. This one kind of tasted like a snowcone. The server responded with “oh wow well you almost finished it for not liking it.” She hadn’t come to our table for my sister to order something different. Once we paid, the server then proceeded to give multiple people their checks first before coming to our table. Like I said previously I’ve been here many times and loved the service and love the food. I was very disappointed at this time. My sister and I both have been in the service industry for many years and we extend a lot of grace in this aspect. But this was just by far some of the worst service I’ve had.
