I’ve gone twice, overall it’s a solid staple. The environment is distributed differently based off where you’re seated. From what I’ve experienced if you want something more intimate, and spacious ask to be seated in the entrance room. Whereas if you don’t mind sitting basically shoulder to shoulder with the tables beside you, you’ll be fine sitting in the further room.
Compared to the other Mexican restaurants in/near Wilmington, this one has a nice selection of good meals. We’ve tried their buen dia special, torta, and chicken fajitas; all of which tasted great. Although I will say their beans weren’t a hit either of the two times we went.
It’s a clean environment, and they are willing to work around minor dietary restrictions, obviously they don’t specialize in serving specialized meals. Although they take the time to work around it when asked.
For service, it’s well. Not top notch, but not lousy. Very respectful staff. Although I can’t speak for every single worker there, the workers I have encountered are wonderful.
Overall, will definitely be coming back. If your looking for a Mexican restaurant definitely try this one out.
Based on the time you decide to dine here, parking may or may not be crowded. But that’s just Wilmington.

Do not pass this place up, it is truly a hidden gem here in Wilmington. Great food, amazing staff! My favorite (obviously) is the Chilaquiles Poblanos, it’s absolutely delicious every single time. My friend also loves their Tres Leches Pancakes!

When you walk in, you immediately feel as though you have stepped in to another country. It is colorfully decorated and a life size rooster greets you front and center. The tall booths are inviting and the menu covers breakfast and lunch. I couldn’t decide what to get, as there are so many choices. I ordered the Birria Bowl and it was outstanding, with a generous portion of birria, rice, cilantro, avocado, and onions. It was flavorful and the meat was so tender. I would highly recommend this place!!

They have a wide variety of options at really reasonable prices. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Food was good & authentic
Chilaquiles were definitely my favorite!! Would love for the tamales were pork instead of chicken!
The male waiter was very attentive and drinks were great!!! We had him both days and was one of the reason we came back
! The Conchitas rellenas were not good, bread was Hard!!

We had such a great experience here! Our server, Alex J., was amazing—he went above and beyond to make our visit special. He even hand-squeezed the oranges for our mimosas, which were some of the best we’ve ever had. The food was delicious, and Alex guided us through the menu with great recommendations that did not disappoint. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and fantastic food—we’ll definitely be back!
