️ A long-standing buffet nestled inside the fading Northland Mall. Despite the mall’s slow decline, this spot has maintained consistent pricing and a reliable rotation of dishes over the years.
The food is generally warm and flavorful, with a solid variety across the menu. Diners can enjoy a salad bar, a dessert area, and self-serve drinks—all included.
Service is efficient, though not particularly personable (as expected in a buffet setting). The main downside: the restaurant could benefit from a thorough deep cleaning—especially the floors, tables, and walls. Overall, a decent, no-frills option for a filling meal.

I used to eat here all the time and honestly the food is pretty good for a buffet. I would come in regularly and usually leave about a $5 tip each time.
One time I forgot to bring cash for a tip and the staff made a big deal about it. After that, the next time I came in they clearly remembered and started ignoring my table — they wouldn’t even take the used plates away like they normally do.
Another issue is the hygiene. On one visit I actually saw a bug, which really turned me off.
It’s a shame because the food itself is good, but between the hygiene concerns and the way customers get treated over a single missed tip, it made me stop going.

Me and my family have been coming here ever since I was little. Unlike many other buffets, the food doesn’t taste watered-down, bland, or dry. They have a large salad bar, lots of chicken, seafood, and greens, fried appetizer type foods, some American foods like fries and pizza, soft serve ice cream with toppings, a soda dispenser, dessert table, hot chocolate, fortune cookies, and typically two choices of soup. Service is always cleaning your empty plates. We’ve never gotten sick from their food after many years of eating there. Pricing is age-based. Definitely a solid place for an enjoyable lunch or dinner!

I am never a complainer but this food was horrible chicken was dry The Lo Mein noodles were over done they were sticking together. The steam was rolling so hard it made the rangoons soggy. Just not good at all

Buffet style, but also does carry-out. Food is good, lots of variety including deserts, and plentiful. It’s a seat yourself type of place with staff clearing dishes between patron stops at the buffet.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and I’d like to share mine. I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a teenager—I’m 26 now—and China Buffet has consistently delivered high-quality food and service. The meals are always well-prepared, and I’ve never had a bad experience here.
The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The dining area is kept clean, the music is at a perfect volume—just enough to create ambiance without being distracting—and overall, it’s a relaxing place to enjoy a meal.
I understand that others may have had different experiences, and that’s completely valid. But based on my many visits over the years, I’ve only ever had positive experiences. This place continues to be a favorite of mine for a reason.

This is my son favorite buffet, I like their salmon in there. They have a salad bar and free refills for drinks. We go there sometimes, but not my favorite. I like shrimp a lot, and they usually don’t have duringthe week days. I believe they only have them on the weekends. If you are into Chinese food, this buffet is a good choice , this is a nice one to go. The price per person is round $12, and the food is decent.

Excellent selection of food, good quality ingredients, all freshly cooked (nothing sitting under warmers for hours), and very attentive servers who keep everything clean and tidy.

Not a very good variety compared to other Chinese buffets. Most of the food was room temperature. The wait staff doesn’t say anything when there cleaning up the table. It does have a nice salad bar. I went for a Chinese buffet. Also more expensive then other buffets. Check out the other local buffets first

Haven’t been here in a few years but always remembered the food being good, went back today and it was far from it. Food was subpar and everything was either cold or left out for far too long. The plates were dirty and so were the cups. Could’ve gotten better food at panda express and for half the price. For a party of 2, $35 was a bit steep for this experience. Truly disappointing and won’t be returning anytime soon.
