What a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere is lovely, and displays true Texas spirit and classy. Our server was phenomenal.
The food and drinks was top notch – we had the Old Fashioned and the Tequila based Old Fashioned – they were both incredible, and strong. The food : from the Shirmp, Onion Rings, fried Green Tomatoes – to the main courses of the fried Chicken and Steak – were all delicious. The dessert was a Bread Pudding which was finger licking good.
Cant wait to do this again!

We absolutely enjoyed ourselves at Haywire. We had a reservation for 12 to celebrate a birthday and were seated in a private room, which was a really nice touch. Since our party was large, during reservation a card was required to be put on file with a minimum spend of $660 plus tax and a 20% gratuity, which honestly wasn’t hard to meet. Separate checks weren’t available; the options were one card or up to four cards split evenly.

The food was delicious and the service was great. For starters, we ordered the vaquero shrimp and the lump crab dip for the table both were excellent. I had the redfish with mashed potatoes, which was good, though I wish it had a bit more seasoning. My husband ordered the prime rib and absolutely loved it; it was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor.

Been wanting to try this place since it opened and finally had a chance to when my friends came into town. Food was on point and the portions fit the bill. Everyone was satisfied and our waiter was top tier. Loved the atmosphere, just not where we were seated. Was kind of in the corner, figured we would have been seated more centrally based on how advanced I made reservations. Will make better notes next time. Will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely delicious, I tried fried green tomatoes for the first time, and now I’m a forever fan! The chicken fried steak was phenomenal, the green beans were fresh and crunchy with a great flavor. The wagu steak and eggs was beautiful, but not my favorite. The drinks were flavored well, but could have been better. it’s an absolute must for great food in the domain!

Overall we enjoyed our meal and drink, the Ocho Skinny Margaritas were so fresh and tasty and for our starters we had The Chefs Favorite which was delicious, (I am a fan of the Elk tacos, they were an explosion of flavors in my mouth) we also had the Pork Belly Bites, which my husband really enjoyed those. For our entrees I had the Bone in Ribeye with broccolini and loaded mash (very tasty) and my husband wanted the Pork Chop but unfortunately they ran out so he opted for the Meat loaf, which he said it was good but would have preferred the pork chop. And to end the night we had the pecan pie which was delicious too.

We had the most incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was top-tier, and our server Kyle truly made the night unforgettable. He was excellent, efficient, and had amazing recommendations that we trusted completely.

Thanks to him, we tried wagyu for the first time, and it was hands down the best steak I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, unbelievably tender, and full of flavor. (forgot to take a picture.) The drinks we got complimented our meals perfectly. The lump crab dip as an appetizer was also a perfect start!

Highly recommend Haywire if you’re looking for an outstanding meal and even better service. We’ll definitely be back!

Southern with a Domain twist. Haywire feels like a fun, lowkey spot to grab drinks or a meal at while still being central to shops and other places in The Domain. Parking is easy to find with a small garage around the corner or the much larger red garage right down the street. We made a reservation for 4, which we were seated about 10-15 minutes late. The place was very packed and workers were moving quickly but being late for your reservation on the restaurant’s fault is a ding for us.

When we were seated we ordered quickly and our waitress was nice, giving us details about her growing up in Louisiana. We ordered the chicken fried steak with sides of brussel sprouts and creamy cajun corn and also a double cheeseburger with mac and cheese and onion rings. The chicken fried steak was good but the breading was very light, falling apart with every cut into it. The flavor was still very good though. The sides of creamy cajun corn and brussel sprouts were fantastic, popping with flavor and texture. The cheeseburger was also a hit, well balanced and savory. The mac and cheese and onion rings were similarly well received. We were brought out a special birthday dessert of whiskey bread pudding that was the hit of the night for everyone. It was moist and sugary, such a good way to end a savory meal.

The only hiccup during service was one of our party members’ burgers coming with the wrong toppings, which they corrected by quickly preparing a new one. Despite that, Haywire is one of the better dinner options in The Domain. From its atmosphere to food and service, it touches on all the things necessary to have a good time. Considering its look and location the prices are also fair and warrant a serious look for anyone looking for a higher end date night or dinner. This is somewhere we will definitely be coming back to.

I have been here so many times already…the pics are from different visits. The food doesn’t miss. I love it here. It’s my favorite place to take people because there is something for mostly everyone.

I’m not a big fan of the brunch but it’s decent, I just prefer specialty brunches. Other than that the lunch and dinner is amazing. The staff is attentive and fast no matter where you are dining, upstairs, downstairs, bar, private room. It really is a favorite of mine.

I don’t think they have the Porterhouse on the menu currently, but you can’t go wrong with any of their steaks and dishes on the lunch and dinner menu.

We stopped by Haywire after a little shopping on my wife’s birthday and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. There was an hour long wait for a table (a great sign on a Wednesday night), but we were able to get seated immediately at the upstairs bar. Austin, Dalton, and Candice took care of us and they were top notch. They were attentive, honest about selections, and hilarious to communicate with. The food was delicious, A++ for both the Redfin and the Prime Rib. The best part of all was the Chipotle Chocolate cake that left just a hint of spice after the chocolatey goodness. We will definitely be back here again soon! Thanks Haywire for giving my wife a great birthday experience ❤️

This place was every bit the experience you expected. It is an upscale restaurant with several bars throughout. We sat upstairs, so it was a little cramped. The tables are right next to each other, so if you are on the larger size then it is a tight squeeze. I’m small, so I didn’t have a problem sitting right up on the table, but the man behind me had his chair pushed all the way back where it bumped up against my chair the whole time we were there. Even though the place was crowded and everyone was talking, you could still hear your guests clearly without having to shout. The ribs were fall off the bone good. The other dishes were good also. The price was reasonable for the meal I ordered. Our waiter was very personable. He was a young African American thin guy who knew the menu inside and out. He made great recommendations for the food and the drinks. This is a truly hip and trendy place, but the order crowd would enjoy it also.
