I’ve been here several times now. I’ve never been disappointed with the food’s taste, temperature, or quantity. Good sized portions, cooked fresh while you wait and they have a drive-thru.
Lately I have been getting the garlic shrimp and I ask them to increase the spice as much as they can. They always serve my food hot and fresh and kicked up a little… just like I like it. I highly recommend this place.
Also, some of the best egg rolls I think I’ve ever had.

We get takeout from here. Some things they do well and some things are better done at other Chinese restaurants so it’s a little trial and error to find the good things at first.
Our order is usually close to the same. The general chicken dinner with house lo mein (for an up charge) instead of rice and a sweet and sour chicken with house lo mein (for an up charge) instead of rice, eggrolls, steamed dumplings, sometimes sushi.
I would really like if they would pan fry the dumplings but they only offer them fried or steamed. They are good steamed but would be better pan fried.
The general chicken is delicious but sometimes the chicken is so tough it’s hard to even eat but the sauce is always delicious.
The lo mein is very good but sometimes tastes like burned oil, never know which way it will go.
The egg rolls are very good.
Sushi is fine, nothing special and actually HEB sushi is better, larger portions and larger pieces in the rolls of the California roll but the Shaggy dog here is pretty good and larger.
We have dined in at lunch. Service can be very slow.

Paradise Cafe is always delicious, fresh ingredients, cooked to order. Tamarind chicken, Vietnamese spring rolls, Mongolian beef are some of our favorites. We love that any dish can be customized for spiciness and ingredients.

This is our go to spot for quick meal when we’re tired of fast food. Their Vietnamese egg rolls are bomb. They get smaller with time and a little less rice every time but everything is still so good.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Paradise Cafe. The girl taking orders at the window was unnecessarily rude and condescending. When I placed my order, she corrected me in a snippy, unprofessional manner instead of simply helping like customer service requires.When I pulled up to the window, her attitude somehow got worse—short responses, an unfriendly tone, and zero effort to be polite. There was no reason for the interaction to feel hostile, yet it did.If Paradise Cafe values its customers, staff need better training in basic manners and professionalism. Being “right” about an order does not excuse being rude. This place needs to do better.

Pretty good food and the servers were excellent. They are pretty decorative with some of the food items on the menu, so definitely a great place to enjoy if you have kids or just want caterpillar sushi.

I really enjoyed our lunch the food was delicious and our server Shelly was amazing prices were affordable and everything thing we asked for she made it possible. There’s nothing like service with a smile I will return thank you for your hospitality. Your mom did a great job she was far from being bias.

We used to be regulars at this restaurant, typically ordering takeout at least twice a month. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has noticeably declined over time. After giving it a couple of months in hopes that things might improve, we decided to try it again, only to be seriously disappointed.
We ordered combo meals C5 and C9, along with egg rolls and cheese puffs. The broccoli beef was almost entirely missing the beef, having only two small pieces in the entire dish, while it was overloaded with broccali, onions and carrots. The sauce was bland and lacked any flavor. My combo came with sweet and sour chicken, but I only received three small pieces, which tasted like they’d been fried in old, overused oil.
The egg rolls were overcooked and also carried that same stale oil taste. The cheese puffs were the only part of the meal that we actually enjoyed,they were fresh and flavorful.
The pepper steak dish had a similar issue: a minimal amount of meat overwhelmed by vegetables. We had requested to swap the chicken for sweet and sour pork, and again only received three small pieces, which tasted just as unpleasant as the chicken.
To make matters worse, while the food quality and portion sizes have decreased, the prices have gone up. When I reached out with feedback, someone identifying themselves as the manager dismissed my concerns outright.
Sadly, we won’t be returning, and I can no longer recommend this restaurant. If you do choose to give it a try, I suggest setting your expectations low.

I cant even tell you how awesome this place is. We came for lunch. We each ordered the lunch combinations that came with two entrees, fried rice and an egg roll for like $8 and they were delicious HUGE portions. Definitely enough for lunch and dinner. Our bill was $23 after two lunch combinations and an appetizer of fried dumplings. The beef and brocolli was awesome and so was the general chicken. Cant wait to come back and try the sushi!
