I would not write home about this place. So the flavor was not bad however my chicken tenders were super small and skinny. The fries were as if they fried out all the potato and left a crusty outer edge. The sauce for the chicken looked good but it was HEAVY MAYO FLAVOR, which I am not a big fan of mayo. The toast was bland. Hubs had a spicy chicken sandwich. The pic will describe the mess, too saucy, but he said the flavor was good. Place was clean and people were nice.

My family of 19 and I came here after church on Mother’s Day. Let me start by saying the service was top tier! We stood outside in the parking lot debating if we all wanted to eat here or not. A guy came out the door and greeted us, letting us know he’ll be inside putting a few tables together for our family. Eddie was his name. That was enough for us to say yes we’re definitely coming in! We got inside and the cashiers and everyone else was so friendly. The food was hot and fresh but also very delicious. The blue lemonade was very good as well. We also received their new dessert-banana pudding which was really good & complimentary by the way!
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you haven’t given them a try please do, You won’t be disappointed!

Well… the tenders are DEFINITELY the filet mignon of the chicken. i couldn’t get a picture because they were gone (I ate them) about as fast as they came out (were delivered to me). Amari had great customer service, as well as the other employees. They spoke to everyone leaving and coming in, good music, clean tables. Im sure I will go back. thanks guys!

My buddy Thomas recommended we come here after the boat show. The food was great and the service was even better! It’s refreshing to see great service at a fast food establishment. Thank you to all staff for an amazing experience at Huey Magoo’s. Would definitely recommend anybody who’s in Tanger to stop by Huey’s!

Drive thru girl was extremely rude and doesn’t enunciate her words well at all. There was literally no one in the drive thru line and maybe 5 cars in the parking lot. It took 10 mins to order 3 lunch meals with drinks. She claimed she couldn’t hear me and I had to yell the order 5x until she got it all together. Everytime I ordered a drink she kept saying, “You know that’s extra right”.
At the drive thru window she just put her hand out for the debit card and refused to split the bill between 2 debit cards. No big deal but I know it’s done. She all but threw the 2 bags at me and the drinks were extremely light for Coke’s but as it was 30 mins into the experience we left.
Arrived back at work to discover the drinks were mostly seltzer but we did know they were extra! The side of fries were not included in either bag. There was no chicken on the Buffalo Chicken Salad even though specified fried chicken 5x! The dressings on 2 of the dips opened up in the bag and were all over everything and for a 5 piece tender there were only 3 tenders and not with the Garlic Parm sauce.
We called and actually spoke the the drive thru girl. She said the manager was busy cooking and that’s what we get for not checking everything before we pull away and hung up. I’m so angry right now and I WILL BE CALLING THEIR CORPORATE OFFICES ABOUT THE INCIDENT. A waste of $43!

I’ve had all the major players in the chicken strip game across the US. Including everyone’s beloved Cane’s. I finally had Huey MaGoo’s tonight. It is hands down the best one. Extremely tender, excellent crisp, and the best sauce out of all of them. I can totally see why they call it the filet mignon of chicken strips.

I made a mistake trying to give this place a try. The inside was a complete mess. Looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in many hours. When I walked up to order, no one came. I stood there instead watching the worker get in an argument with a customer over the quality of their food as well as items they were missing. The worker said the customer was mistaken. After waiting quite too long for someone to even come take my order, I left. The condition of the restaurant as well as the customer complaints while I waited were enough for me to leave. Just don’t bother with this place. Chick-Fil-A is a few seconds down the road and it was a much better experience. After reading the reviews, it appears that whoever is responding to them doesn’t really care unless it’s 5 stars. “Way to prove those haters wrong” is such a horrible way to respond. Instead of dismissing serious concerns, try actually looking into it. All the bad reviews are similar and that should speak volumes. The consistency in a bad experience is there.

This use to be my go to spot…but I have limited how often I go due to the standard of care in terms of customer service being low in the past. I went again this Friday as my daughter wanted something else in the area and was excited to place my order.
However, the young lady in the drive thru was rude as all get out. There was an airplane going over as she requested me to place my order. I said give me a sec for the plane to go over as I couldn’t hear her and she started yelling at me to go ahead with my order. I repeated that I would wait until the plane pass as I am not able to make out what she was saying. When I ask if I can place my order once the plane has past, and she told me I can wait now since I made her wait!
I parked my car and just went in as I really wanted my food. The young lady at the register on the inside was somewhat pleasant but you can tell she didn’t want to serve me.
From there and getting home, the chicken was fried so tough and overcooked I couldn’t eat it. I offered it to my colleague the next day and they had the same complaint. Over $15 dollars of food and none of it was edible. Well except the toast. That my daughter ended up eating. I come here because of the quality of chicken. I am not sure if they went to a different vendor or if my punishment was overcooked food. But either way I will think twice about going to this location.

I was told that Huey Magoo’s is a good rival to the chicken tenders and special sauce of Raising Canes. I have to admit that the two are very similar, with exceptionally good tenders and a sauce that doesn’t miss. I do like the crinkle cut fries of Magoo’s a little better. The drive-thru service was very quick and professional, which certainly hasn’t been my experience with other fast food chains in the area.

The staff is RUDE! My kids like this place so I have tried to go several times. Tonight was it! I went through drive thru. They said they weren’t taking anymore orders, they weren’t closed yet. I said okay and proceeded to ask the people in the car where they want to go. I got an attitude through the speaker as if she were going to jump through the speaker, saying EXCUSE ME WHAT WAS THAT!? I had to just drive off. Great customer service is what brings customers back. Not what I experienced tonight.
