Fraud! This location and its manager Gary refused to discuss how we were overcharged tonight. But first, the meal. Drinks were awful. Maker’s Mark Old Fashioned, Lemon Drop Martini, and an El Capitan margarita. One was too strong and flavorless, one tasted like orange juice, and the other was bland. It just seemed like an inexperienced bartender. We could make these drinks better at home. The meals were the Baja tacos and short ribs. Nothing to write home about. I made a request when we ordered drinks to place a to-go order that we would be taking home with us when we left. It was brought out in a bag before we even got our meals :/. By the time it got home, the bun was soggy. The service was quite slow despite it not being very busy. The manager was working also. Maybe they had someone call out. When we asked for our check, after our plates had already been cleared, our server brought the itemized receipt to us totaling $96 and change. We gave her our card. She then returned with our card and had a *NEW* receipt for us to sign with a different total…$107 and change. The itemized receipt was gone. We couldn’t figure out what could account for nearly $12 difference between the two receipts. It didn’t appear to be any type of gratuity or restaurant tax or anything like that. We asked our server about it and she nonchalantly said she forgot to add a couple drinks. But everything looked correct on the first itemized receipt we were shown. We were never shown a second itemized receipt for the $107 amount. The manager was busy with other customers and our to-go food was just getting colder so we decided to go home and call him from there. When we got home and called him, he backpedaled and asked us if we were accusing them of fraud, and if so, then we weren’t needed as customers. He then hung up on us. Well Sir, we won’t be dining with you ever again, wish fulfilled. Customers should always be presented with the correct itemized bill that they are signing for.

Service was top notch, she was hustling!! Always ready with a good suggestion for drinks or apps.
Food was absolutely delicious, honestly nothing was less than superb for flavor. Between the service and taste of the food we will return. Kitchen needs to work on their pace and perfection. Might have been an off night but 3 mistakes on my meal was a bit much (undisclosed delay, then made wrong food, then served correct food cold). Server was super apologetic and able to remedy the problem quick, plus awesome food flavor made these mistakes less concerning. Hopefully the kitchen figures it out on our next visit.
Highly recommend “Baja shrimp taco”, “shrimp enchiladas”, and “abuelitas chocolate truffles” (all on restaurant week menu, but hope they keep them)

Overall, very good experience. I got their steak and mushroom enchilada. Everything was great including the chips and queso. The exception was the margarita. The margarita was very big, and not very strong. I got the margarita with patron in it, which they charged $11 for. Honestly feel like they would be better off serving it in a smaller glass so it didn’t feel as watered down, or just putting two shots instead of one. Either way we will be back.

Forgot to take a picture but goodness it was fun and the brisket tacos were so tasty. Not overwhelming with cilantro, just a hint. The guacamole was very good, cool with notes of lime.

I absolutely love their chicken enchiladas! My husband is a very picky eater and he proclaimed that their brisket tacos were very good! Our server was in training but you would never know that; she did a great job. There was no wait to get a table at 6:00 on Sunday night.

If you are coming to a place to have a good drink and food to compliment it this is your place! The staff is very friendly. I had no issues with my time here and was tended to often. I ordered the steak medallion appetizer (med rare), tacos carbon and, the brownie Alamo de. The portion sizes were more than enough. You won’t be leaving uncomfortably full or hungry. For drinks I had 2 local beers and a blueberry mule. Overall my experience was a very pleasant and it would be nice spot to bring a date or to just come and enjoy a drink and food by yourself. I would come again!

We visited for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed our experience! The brunch menu is delicious and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed the mimosa bottle service; you get to pick four different juices- highly recommend the strawberry! All of the entrees were so good. I had the breakfast croissant sandwich and the added queso was perfect.

The only issues we had were the desserts.. When my friends brought up the issue to the server, they took it off their bills.
The food wasn’t that memorable for me, I had a few bites and packed most of it home for my family. My order was the steak and something enchiladas…. I remember enjoying it, but it wasn’t something i felt like I wanted to devour.
Parking is available in a large lot.
