This was my first meal in the area as we were traveling to Fernandina Beach for a long weekend visit. This was the BEST fried shrimp I had during my weekend – and I tried lots of shrimp. Highly recommend.

In town for a little league baseball tournament, saw the reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. Don’t judge when you see that this place is unassuming, behind a gas station. The decor is very plain like an old diner. But I’ll tell you what – if this place was in my area I would be 500 lbs. The menu said it had the best friend chicken in the county – they lied – it’s the best fried chicken I’ve ever had and I should know as this is my go to at every restaurant. Their biscuits are truly homemade – I could eat 10. My kids had the seafood boil and ate them all up. Loved it. Kim was a wonderful, attentive, friendly waitress. I felt like my aunt was bringing us food. This place is a 10 out of 10. I’m definitely coming back to Amelia island just to eat here again.

Good job to the owner and staff. Stop no further for seafood boil! My teen is an expert when it comes to seafood boil as this is his go-to dish. He said this crab boil with corn, potato, and sausage blew away his favorite place in South Carolina. He felt the crab was very well cooked, flavorful, and fresh. My husband enjoyed his shrimp boil as well. The crab cakes were okay, and the cole slaw and potato fries were delicious. Slaw is a favorite, and that may be one of the best I’ve had.
With a relaxed, casual atmosphere, you can kick back and enjoy your meal and enjoy the music playing in the background. The inside has two TVs and a full bar with lots of seating, booths, and tables. The outside has spacious, relaxed seating.
Turn into the gas station and drive behind to the restaurant. Also, thanks for the good service, Brianna! was on top of everything and very helpful.
Our last vacation meal was a good one. Until next time, Florida.

Great food, great service! Local spot “Hidden” behind the gas station. You can sit outside on their covered deck or inside. They also have a bar area. It was our first and definitely won’t be our last time eating here. Everything we ate was delicious and what we expected from a seafood place. Our kids are picky eaters and they even loved their food. We will be returning!

We finally decided to try the Hidden Crab. It’s kinda hidden behind a gas station but we’re both glad we stopped for a lunch.
First, I had a beer and my wife had ice tea and we had the fried mushrooms for appetizer. Service was fast and the food all arrived in a timely manner, as it obviously takes a while to cook. The mushrooms were very good.
Then, I had to try their 3-piece chicken (advertised as the best). I also got fries and collard greens. Everything was cooked perfectly and the chicken was very good! We were surprised how good the fries and greens were also.
My wife got the 30 shrimp, sweet potato fries and green beans. She really liked it all and commented that we’ll need to add this restaurant to our list.
Fast service, great food, assortment of drinks and fair prices!

We went for all you can eat crab legs and they did not disappoint! They were delicious and almost every piece came right out of the shell. They included fried shrimp with the legs and those were awesome as well. Sevice was very friendly, we met the owner who was very polite. I will definitely go back, my daughter had the Philly cheese sandwich, it was large and delicious. Cant wait to eat there again!

We had a great server, (the bartender), we sat at the bar only seating when we arrived. It was very noisy with everyone talking. Fried shrimp, and crab legs are worth going here. The bartender checked on us frequently. She was very kind and didn’t let your drink be empty for long.

I think my kids enjoyed this place more than I did. The atmosphere was pretty cool for the kids because on the outside there is a small little playground.
The seafood boil lacked some major love in the seasoning department. Most of the seasoning was at the bottom of the bag, so if you soaked it a little it didn’t taste as bland.
The service could of been better, our server never smiled until the bill was final. Maybe she was already having a rough day.
In total i spent $132.15 plus a $5 tip for: 1bls crab
1bls shrimp
1bls sausage
4 corn
6 potatoes
6 boiled eggs
1 margarita

The hidden Crab is a hidden gem!! We came here on a Wednesday when they started the all you can eat Crab legs and it was great!! And they weren’t kidding! They kept bringing the crab out until I couldn’t eat another bite! I have been back and got the fried shrimp special that was 30 shrimp and 2 sides for $16.00!! My buddy always gets the boils that you can add or exclude certain items. The food is great here and they even offer fried chicken if your not in the mood for seafood. Very casual and great prices!
