A friend told us that Farmer’s Table in Smithfield, VA had really great burgers, and he was spot on! We tried them today for a Valentine’s lunch, and the burgers and fries were so delicious. There are plenty of choices on the menu board, however we thought we would try their most popular, The Farmhouse Combo and a Farmhouse so we could share the fries. This is important – get your own fries! They are too delicious to share! The burger was perfectly cooked with a tasty char. This burger isn’t so humongous that you can’t get everything in one bite. It was the perfect bite. The fries were just right – larger than shoestring and smaller than steak fries. They were hot and delicious. They also have other sandwiches. I can’t wait to try their crispy chicken sandwich which has a buttermilk batter, and the brisket sandwich would be perfect for my husband. They serve French fries, tater tots, and onion rings as well. They also make all sandwich options in Keto form. Go there, and you are in for a really delicious meal

Thought this was a farm to table kind of restaurant but it’s more of a quick service restaurant with fried chicken, burgers, brisket sandwiches and the like. It was bit more expensive than I would have expected ($4.49 to add fries and a drink to your sandwich). Tasty but a bit greasy. I rated the service a bit low as the cashier seemed to value what was going on in the parking lot or on a phone order more than the customer in the store. Nice layout in the restaurant – – the tractor tables add a good touch.

Loved it! Great little burger joint, well decorated, friendly staff, tasty juicy burgers, generous portions. Prices are fair.
My ONLY complaint, their ranch isn’t very good. Hand crafted burgers and fries deserve a high-quality homemade ranch.

I loved this place and the last few times I went I have been so disappointed! I don’t get to eat fried foods often and farmers table would always be my choice. I ordered 2 orders of onion ring . I got home opened it up and this is what I received.

The brisket was like cold beef jerky, luckily they only give out a few shreds of it at a time when you get it as an add-on. The spicy chicken sandwich is not the slightest bit spicy. Just overly salty.

Been here several times however today was a disaster ordered in for take out we were order #50 spent well over $65 plus a 15% tip only to get back to Zuni to find our burger was very very rare to the point we couldn’t eat it until we microwaved it not to mention both burgers were suppose to be Keto’s and only 1 was i called and spoke with a manager his only solution was i will speak with the girls up front attached is the picture of the Keto burger as mentioned the other burger was also to be Keto but wasn’t also we ordered 2 fried chicken sandwiches which were fine however we asked for pickles and mayo on the side and didn’t get either

Zero complaints. The staff was pleasant and speedy, and the menu offered things for even our fussiest eater. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. I recommend the Farmhouse Burger, and do not hesitate to add some bacon and fried egg to it!

They maintain a 5 star rating. Same good service and same excellent food. The Fog Horn Leg Horn was delicious! Burger + southern style chicken breast + fried egg = one well fed and happy customer.

Was in Smithfield VA working for a week or so and had the absolute pleasure to eat here 3 times, each and every time was fantastic. It’s a burger and ice cream spot and well, the burgers are always cooked perfect, great flavor and incredible options. I had the “Memphis” which was Memphis style BBQ on a burger. Wow. Secondly I had the Spicy Chicken sandwich and then the Farmhouse burger with an over medium egg. You can’t and won’t go wrong stopping by. I will eat here a 4th before leaving the area.
Did stop by the 4th time and got an excellent milkshake and Farmhouse bacon burger, excellent.

The burgers are very tasty and so is the chicken . I ordered the Foghorn Leghorn and it was huge! Got Coleslaw to go with it but the slaw, shredded cabbage mixed to order, didn’t have much flavor. Wish they had a few more sides, especially vinegary ones to cut the glorious burger juice! Great burgers and fries, though!
