Reviews
Located right at the entrance of the Hilton LAX hotel.
This is exactly what you expect from an airport hotel. It is convenient. Variety. Can eat in or snacks to take away.
Tonight it was a $15 chicken Caesar salad. So generous with cheese. Chicken that’s skinny but also not cut into manageable pieces.
I also walked in and asked if this was where the half-priced wine was and the man at the counter said “yes” and pointed to bottles in the cooler and in front of him. When I got the receipt they charged full price and then refused to make it right. They said that’s only at the “cafe” which is apparently the sit down restaurant across the lobby, despite there being a sign that says “bistro cafe” right in front of this establishment. This place is open 24/7 and serves coffee drinks and light meals. The other place is an expensive Italian restaurant. Who would call this a “bistro” and the other place a “cafe?” Only someone who doesn’t know what those words imply.
When I did get my order it was just gross. It’s also incredibly expensive for the frozen quality food being reheated that you get. The price is astronomical…For what a coffee and sandwich will cost – go across the lobby to the buffet. It’s only a few dollars more and the options are much better!
The only (& I truly mean only) convenience is that it’s open 24 hours and if you are extremely tired it’s right there but there are places that you can easily walk to for better food/service at a much more reasonable price.
