We decided to take a drive to Jericho one evening, to check out this little cremee stand. So glad we did!
This little stand is just off the main road in Jericho, and plenty of parking on the side of the store.
We ordered the maple/chocolate twist which is such a wonderful combination! The kids wanted sprinkles on their cremees but we just wanted to have our cremees straight up. The chocolate is a tad overpowering compared to the maple cremee but the texture of the cremee overall, is amazingly smooth and delicious. I am excited to come out and try more of their wonderful flavors on the board.

The maple creemees here are definitely more maple forward than some other places. Their twist combinations are quite interesting. Had a twist of Maple and Blueberry and it was excellent. The service window is very Friendly and efficient on getting orders in and out.

This place is sweet! “Mad good“ was what my brother said. We came in five minutes before closing, and the owner stayed open and happily walked through the menu with us before giving us the fantastic creamee and the equally good soft and delectable molasses creamee sandwich. If you’re coming from out of town and drive by, make sure to stop. So good!

Before coming to Vermont on vacation, I read Palmer Lane Maple had the best creemee in the state, and after trying a few different places while on vacation, theirs was my favorite. So creamy and flavorful! This place was packed with locals and tourists alike every time we visited. Palmer Lane Maple is a must on a visit to Vermont! ..and buy some maple syrup in their shop while you are there! ❤️

Nice treat to get creemees in the winter.I traveled from Highgate and it was worth it. 1st time here. I’m not a maple fan but the maple/coffee swirl was delicious. Very smooth creemee, not “icey” or grainy like some. Highly recommend.

We’ve been bi-weekly customers for the past 5 years. Unfortunately the quality of the maple creemee has gone downhill recently. This past thanksgiving week we had two bad experiences. The texture isn’t as dense, the mix tastes like cheap vanilla with low grade syrup added, and there were “chunks” of what tasted like coagulated semi-frozen maple chips mixed in. We saw other regulars there who said they noticed the same issues.

We’ll be back in a few weeks when they re-open for the next holiday, hopefully they revert whatever recent changes they made.

Vermonters love their local creemee places and everybody will claim their town has the best one. I’m from out-of-state and don’t have an attachment to any specific town here, so here’s my unbiased opinion after trying MANY different creemees across the state over 20 years visiting: Palmer Lane Maple has the best maple creemee I have ever tasted in Vermont! There is no comparison – every other maple creemee I’ve tried has this fake, artificial taste (and many don’t even have a maple taste at all). Sure, they might be creamy, but check and see the ingredients…so many creemee spots use fake powdered soft serve mix and artificial flavors. Not even real maple!! Palmer Lane literally has their own sugarhouse and uses their own maple syrup and real local milk to make their creemees. You can see the ingredients right inside the window when you’re ordering!

This place also has tons of amazing maple treats inside including snacks, candies, maple syrup, and more! They even have other local Vermont-themed products, merch, and a lot of other stuff. When you first visit, be sure to step inside to see what they’re selling! The entire town of Jericho is at this ice cream shop in the evenings – it’s that good! Anyone that comes here becomes an instant regular. They have many different creemee flavors to choose from – not a ton all at once, but they rotate them on a weekly basis so you’re able to try lots of different flavors all the time. I believe they change flavors every Tuesday (you might need to verify that). They have everything from maple, chocolate, vanilla, ginger, orange, coffee, peppermint, strawberry, black cherry, pumpkin, peach, and so much more! They have sorbets, vegan options, gluten-free cones, and best of all – they have pints to-go that you can bring home and enjoy over multiple days!! No matter if it’s a sundae, milkshake, maple lemonade slushee, or just a simple maple creemee on a cone, I will always find room for Palmer Lane Maple.

Pro tip: ask to get your creemee stacked instead of twisted! If, for example, they have a peach/maple twist, ask to get the flavors stacked on top of one another so you can try peach and maple separately! My favorite flavors are peach, chocolate, coffee, pumpkin and maple! Maple is THE BEST! And even the chocolate tastes more like “real” chocolate. I don’t know how they do it…when we vacation in Vermont we come here almost every day for weeks on end and never get tired. Come here when you’re driving by – it’s worth stopping at!!

A local friend insisted we visit Palmer Lane Maple, and now we know why! From the moment we pulled in, we could tell this place is a local treasure. There was a long line when we arrived, but it moved surprisingly fast thanks to the friendly, efficient staff who clearly take pride in their work. Everyone greeted customers with genuine smiles, making the wait part of the fun.

I ordered the Real Maple Twist Black Raspberry (large in a cup), and it was simply outstanding – creamy, smooth, and bursting with flavor, with the maple perfectly complementing the tart sweetness of the black raspberry. My wife went for the Maple Ice Cream in a cone with sprinkles, and she couldn’t stop raving about how rich and authentic the maple flavor was. You can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients that truly set them apart.

The ambiance is pure Vermont charm – a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating and standing space. Whether you’re sitting under the sun, tree or chatting with other visitors, it feels like a community gathering spot.

It’s easy to see why Palmer Lane Maple is award-winning – their pure Vermont maple syrup and ice cream flavors are on another level. Excellent service, incredible flavors, and a setting that makes you slow down and savor every bite. We’ll definitely be back.

One of the best creamies around, They also have a gift shop if you go inside. The peppermint was good, but I don’t recommend it in a twist because it overpowers the Maple flavor.

I heard about the famous Vermont Maple Creemee and was looking forward to it while visiting friends. This was one of the best ice cream treats I have ever tasted. The store is so charming if I lived there I would be a regular 🙂
