Today, I placed an order through the Yelp app while leaving the office, which apparently went through DoorDash. I ordered two halal chicken over rice platters with extra white and hot sauce plus additional sauce on the side, and a 6-piece mango habanero fried chicken with ranch and an added blue cheese sauce (paid extra).
The app showed the order as ready, so I arrived about 30 minutes later. However, I ended up waiting another 40 minutes in the store. During that time, I repeatedly asked about my order and was told “10 more minutes” each time. Meanwhile, several customers who walked in after me placed their orders and received their food before I did.
In total, it took about 90 minutes to receive my order.
When I finally got the food, the staff said they were busy and had too many orders. But that doesn’t explain why customers who came in after me were served first.
To make things worse, the order was incorrect. They said the white and hot sauces were already poured over the rice, but there was no sauce at all. For the mango habanero chicken, I paid extra for blue cheese sauce in addition to ranch, but none of the sauces were included in the bag.
Extremely disorganized service, long wait time, and incorrect order. One of the worst takeout experiences I’ve ever had.

Best munchies spot in the queens. I go there 4 times a week with my friends . The staff is very friendly . They have the fresh chicken and fresh lamb . Their spicy rice tastes best . No one has the spicy rice like halal munchies . Their quality and quantity both are 5/5 . I will recommend every single New Yorkers to visit an try their food.

Went for a local halal run ended up here talk about bang for the buck you can literally feed 2 people with just one platter. The food was tasty I had the lamb over rice with French fries for dessert a vanilla kulfi a delicious ice cream treat. Will definitely return soon
