I really enjoyed my visit to Athena Greek and Lebanese Food. The hummus was the star of my meal—creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The lentil soup with pita chips definitely gave the hummus a run for its money in terms of taste. The yellow rice was tasty, and the chicken, while a bit on the small side, was still good. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I also picked up some dried chickpeas after my meal.

Nothing special. I brought my best friend and our daughters here to eat for my best friend’s birthday. The food was “OK”, but it took forever. We were there for 2 hours total. The waitress looked like she hadn’t washed her hair in a few weeks. There was two of them that looked very similar. Both girls were white with brown hair that had been bleached and dyed pink at one point long ago, it had grown out, so it was partially brown, blonde, pink, and greasy. Our waitress didn’t have a personality, she didn’t prebus our tables, ask if we wanted drink refills, and messed up our food order. They weren’t even busy. They had 3 waitresses working, and the place was only half occupied. By the time we got our food we were ready to go, so we just packed up all our food and left. It was our first and only time going here. Next time we’ll opt for somewhere else.

At first glance from the outside, it’s easy to think it (the restaurant) might be pretty fried. But honestly, upon entering and taking a seat, it’s quite a chill spot. Our server was such a friendly dude, the restaurant was very clean, relaxed atmosphere. And most importantly- the food was fantastic. We enjoyed all our dishes. Highly recommend the grape leaves for an appetizer.

Got take out from here and everything was delicious – especially loved the grape leaves; they tasted very fresh and the tzatziki was excellent. I love that they give complimentary lentil soup. Best hummus in town, too

This place is fire! Everything is delicious and authentic. Fast service and friendly. They have a small Lebanese and Greek grocery store in the restaurant and have things you can’t find anywhere else. The falafel, gyro, babaganoush, etc…all delicious. You’re missing out if you skip this place.

THIS is the Athena you need to go to! If you’ve never tried Athena or have only had the gas station iterations, make it a point to give this location a try. There’s even a grocery store where you can stock up on some southern and eastern Mediterranean necessities.

The best thing I had was the complimentary lentil soup. The fried eggplant was ok but I didn’t like the Grecian dip served with it as it wasn’t complimentary to the eggplant or vice versa.
The lamb kabob was overcooked and hard, even after the 2nd time they prepared it for me. Apparently, they can only do well done there as I couldn’t get rare.
The side salad would have been good if the oil and vinegar dressing had some salt in it. There was oregano, feta a half slice of tomato and a tiny pepperoncini and no flavor, absolutely bland.
I couldn’t wait to try the baklava, both almond and walnut. Both were a disappointment; not fresh and tough.
BUT! The pita bread was fresh and sill soft and edible after I tried it at home. I don’t know why I brought bad food home, I should have left it there for them to throw out.
