Norms has really upped their game since the last time I ate breakfast here. There used to be a waitress who worked here who was really rude. I guess she had been working here for several years. It got to the point where she was throwing plates, which is why I stopped coming. Now she’s gone, and my waitress this time was Martha. She was awesome and did a great job. She was very attentive—I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup; it was always full. It also looks like the staff really backs each other up, so you’re never left unattended for even a minute. I ordered the porterhouse steak and eggs, and it was cooked perfectly. I will continue to come to Norms.

Big shout out to the graveyard staff tonight they were on it and even the wait wasn’t too bad and we had an awesome server Jesus Alberto what a great guy, checking on our table often with great service as well. I also had the sirloin and eggs breakfast with some blueberry hotcakes,Delicious 10/10 food so good didn’t even take a picture thank you cooks!! As well as server assistant cleaning tables quick and keeping the restaurant clean thank you for your hard work! Gotta come back soon!! Thank you

Norms is an old staple in the diner market. Always have great breakfast items, and the service is great.
I only eat breakfast there, even when I use to go in my twenties after a night out. Eggs, thick bacon, fluffy pancakes, hash browns and toast!

I came by myself Sunday before Memorial Day, super chill staff. They really sleeping on norms. $18 for an Arnold Palmer, fettuccine Alfredo WITH chicken , soup and salad… bro a vibe!!!! They didn’t rush me. I got lucky but I love norms. ONG! I ATE THAT UP.

The breakfast was nice and there’s something about having steak and eggs. I would suggest not to have high expectations and try to compare the steaks against a steakhouse. The steak was cooked okay the rest of the items like the hash browns, eggs, biscuits and gravy were really good. The price is reasonable for what you get.

Even though it was extremely busy during lunch on Thanksgiving the service was great. Didn’t get the managers name but he went above and beyond to accommodate our large group and provided excellent service . The staff was also great and friendly specially on a holiday. Definitely recommending family & friends.

I went around 11am, and even though it looked busy, we didn’t have to wait at all to be seated. The server introduced himself and was very attentive the whole time we were there.

This is my first time at this location, been to whittier and pico Rivera. Downey is nice and look like the on in whittier. Prices did go up about $7.00 on bigger breakfast.
