I’ve been a Schlotsky’s fan ever since the 1970s when the only Schlotsky’s was the one in Austin, Texas on South Congress Avenue. This location in College Station near the A&M campus appears to be pretty new.
You don’t go to Schlotsky’s for the service. It’s a fast food model. You order at the counter and you take a seat. At least they bring your sandwich to your table when it is ready.
I liked this location because everything looks clean and new which, unfortunately, can’t be said of all Schlotsky’s locations.
I thought the sandwich I ate at this Schlotsky’s location was fresher and tastier than I can get at the Schlotsky’s closer to my home in Conroe, Texas.
I don’t go to College Station often, but I am quite likely to return to this Schlotsky’s location next time I’m in Aggie Land.

Absolutely awful place with rude employees that don’t care about your order and are lost in their own world. They have a 5 dollar offer on weekends for pizza and do everything in their power to not let you have it in hopes you’ll order something for full price. “We’re out of pizza dough.” “Flatbreads don’t count as pizza.” Abysmal. Today I paid 26 dollars for two sandwiches gone bad (I don’t know how they managed that), and a bitter “drink” full of water with maybe two spoonfuls of sprite. The only part of the order that met expectations was the lays chips, and they come prepackaged. You can’t trust these guys to make anything right.

I just picked my kids up and they asked for Schlotsky’s pizza. I went to use the app and it is down. I go to the drive thru of this location that is near their Nana’s house but not particularly close to our home in Bryan. The app is still out. I ask at the drive thru and they tell me the app has been down. I ordered food the important part being the medium sandwich which I asked for no chipotle mayo. I get my food minus the points and minus the 5 dollar medium sandwich after a purchase of 10 dollars or more because they can only ring it up with the app and the app is down. Now this special is only good until the 3rd so I likely will now miss out. Then I get the food. I ask the lady who has been so not-politely telling me the app is down and she can’t breathe or be polite or give good service without the app it seems. I ask “you got the no chipotle mayo because I have an egg allergy.” I am assured there is no chipotle mayo and a big truck is on my back bumper trying to push me out of the drive thru. I leave get home 44 minutes later to be greeted by my 11 dollar sandwich with what must be extra chipotle mayo. So I got screwed out of the 5 dollar deal, save me 6 dollars, and the points for the two pizzas and the sandwich. And now I get to throw the 11 dollar sandwich into the garbage can. I am especially upset that I asked at the window if they got the no mayo and mentioned an allergy and it was loaded with it. Sad state for customer service here.
I called to speak with the manager and their phone system was so bad I couldn’t understand a thing they said. I am calling it now this will be the next restaurant closure in our area.

the food used to be good here 2 years ago, but the quality just kept getting worse over time. the drinks are watered down, the food is made with bad meat and does not taste good. it’s a gamble buying from here and not worth the money it costs.

Was disappointed in this trip to Schlotskys. Usually always awesome, but the Cinnabons we ordered were hard and cold, not warm and gooey…had to take them back.. The sandwiches were decent but very skimpy on meat and toppings. The original sandwich had hardly any olives on it, which usually has quite a bit. Just overall disappointed in this trip when usually it’s awesome.
