We decided to try this place. We ordered combo 1 with swai and coleslaw and red snapper with rice and beans. It took over 10 minutes to get our food. It came with hot sauce, spicy ketchup and packs of ketchup and tartar sauce. The food was good.
The staff was patient with us and explained the menu. They were also friendly and accommodating.

Customer service was well but wasn’t impressed with my food. I’d much rather go to the south post oak location. My fries tasted like they were in the grease too long which was a bummer. The chicken was ok but not as tasty as the other location.
Overall the food wasn’t terrible by any means but getting home and diving into your fries just to spit them out is crazy. Maybe I was the lucky customer to get old fries……I don’t know.
The pricing is more than affordable.

Chicken was great a lil small but good. I add 1 pcs off catfish which was $5 I was cool with that based on the picture. The baby sized 1 I got is why I gave a 4 and not a 5. If you going to charge that much at least make it look like the picture or give 2 if the ones you have are a lil small at the time. Bit all in all it was good.

Location matters!!! I first had Whales at the Mo City location and was a 10/10!! So I decided to check out the Pearland location since it was closer. The food was a 1/10. Very disappointed with this location. The fries were old and warm. The fish wasn’t seasoned nor cooked to perfection. I like my fish fried hard and crispy. The chicken was NOT it!!! Wasn’t fresh and the seasoning didn’t stand out like the chicken did at the Mo City location. Ordered a mangonada ($6.50) only to be told they didn’t have it after I’d already paid. I made a 30 minute drive and spent $25 for total disappointment. However, the customer service was good

Not friendly service at all. The cashier did not tell us that they were out of coleslaw. Just took our order. When we came to let her know that we didn’t receive it she only said “we don’t have any.” No offer to give a different choice. Just flat we don’t have it. The entire plate of food had some powder thing all over all of it, seafood, as well as the fries and onion rings. The catfish was way undercooked. It was not specified the type of “beans and rice” they serve. With seafood and fried chicken it is usually red beans and rice. Instead of that it was flavorless orange rice and some sort of baked beans. There is no indication on the menu of the type, nor was it mentioned by the cashier. When we asked for clarifications on things she did not offer any information. We were met with “I don’t know”. It was our first experience there and we will not be returning.

Best fried chicken in pearland in my opinion. My family and I ran thru a 30pc than ordered another 20pc an hour later. Not sure what they sprinkle on it but it adds that POP! I’ve had the fried fish also. Good as well! Please support because we need places like this to stick around in the area.

Great Food, and Great Services. I got there rather early so I couldnt really judege the atmosphere since i was the only one there but the inside was nice and clean and it looked like i could enjoy the food if i just ate there. But overall I like everything about this place i will definitely be back

First off customer service was absolutely amazing, very welcoming. Introduced the entire menu, lunch break friendly haha. Food was piping hot fresh and super gooooood! Cravings satisfied.

Took the family out for a later dinner. We didn’t have to wait too long on the food to be prepared and it was super fresh. Wings were fried well. Not to overly battered or salty. We had lemon pepper, garlic parm, and the house flavor. My favorite is the house flavor. The corn nuggets were also really good. The service was excellent and the facility was clean. I think they could invest in better decor to make the place a little more appealing. If they make that investment in updating the inside it would make this place a 5 star knockout. Nevertheless, we’re definitely returning as it was great service, convenient, food was delicious, and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the food.

I stumbled upon this place through a Facebook group I was in and decided to give it a try. I’ve been searching for a great fried catfish filet, and this place delivered! I had forgotten to request my fish to be fried hard, but it turned out to be crispy and moist, so I didn’t have to worry about it. It was fried to perfection! I ordered the two-piece catch with ten shrimp and three whole wings, and it came with fries! This was more than enough food for two people. We’ll definitely be returning!
