Great taste of Philly vibe and food! Authentic Philly style from the rolls to the steaks and the whiz. Even the trailer had a Philly center city vibe. Worth a stop for sure! The fries are seasoned just right too!

We had a great experience at It’z A Philly Thing! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I avoid bread, and they were more than happy to make me a cheesesteak bowl, which I really appreciated. It’s so nice when a place is accommodating without making it complicated. Everything was fresh, hot, and satisfying. We’ll definitely be visiting again

The closest to Philly you can get. Had the cheesesteak and wife had the chicken filly. Both were super awesome. We both got the small water ice and they were awesome as well. I will most definitely make the drive from Hendersonville to Bellvue again.

This was my first time at the recommendation of my friend but it won’t be my last. The food makes me want to book a trip to Philly just to go on a food tour. The service was awesome and the food even better. I had the chicken egg rolls and they did not disappoint. My friend encouraged me to try to the water ice and I’m very glad she did. I also order a chicken Philly to go for my husband and he loved it. Overall it was a great experience and I got a new food spot to add to my list.

We had a good experience. It was easy to find. It’s a food truck with umbrella and picnic seating. We came about 1 pm and didn’t wait too long. Food was fresh. It is cashless so make sure you bring a debit/credit card.
Now for the food. We ordered Philly cheese steak with cheese whiz, fries, and Philly egg rolls.
Cheese steak 9/10 meat was seasoned, tender, and the Buns was soft and held up to the meat. I would have liked more onions but I love them so that’s not their fault.
Fries 8/10 They are shoestring and well seasoned. They were not super hot, but they were warm.
Philly egg rolls 7/10 and 10/10
I didn’t enjoy them as much but they were ok. I liked them better with the sauce that came with them.
Overall I would definitely recommend you give them a try!!

This is the first time I have been here. I ordered a regular philly on the tablet on the counter and fries. I brought my own water because everything else is either bottled (wasted plastic) or tap (not filtered). The sandwich was ordered with their special sauce and cheese. I also added mushrooms, jalapenos and onions. Everything extra cost extra including the sauce. The only included item was the onion. While we were waiting at the only table that had shade, we were blasted by loud music. I never understood loud music at a dining establishment. You can’t have a conversation, especially if you are a little hard of hearing to begin with. I tried to locate the one person there, but it took a long moment. He finally showed up and was at least accommodating by lowering the music by a few decibels. My total for sandwich and fries was over $25. To me, that is a lot for lunch (maybe I am just cheap). The sandwich came wit a lot of meat and a LOT of cheese. Not so much on the extras. Although it had a lot of meat, I am used to having the meat come with a little sear from the griddle and more seasoning. Sadly, the meat didn’t have much flavor and it was made worse by the amount of bread and cheese killing whatever flavor it had. I want to give it less stars, but if I had just ordered the sandwich without the extras, I feel that it might have tasted slightly better, and there was a lot of meat. The best thing about the meal was the fries. Really incredible. All in all, a filling meal but, the cost for what I ordered was too much for me.

Always searching for a “true” Philly Cheesesteak and on the West side of Nashville there’s a trailer called IT’Z A Philly Thing. The menu is not huge, but the flavors here more than make up for a smaller menu.
I decided to try the appetizer 2-Cheeze Steak Egg Rolls…OMG these are exceptional. Honestly they are a meal in themselves and dipping them in the sauce provided is awesome. I opted for the Original Philly Cheeze Steak on a wonderful Amoroso Roll. You can modify the cheese along with the additional ingredients/toppings if you like and I went with the Original and added mushrooms. The sandwich was stuffed, the steak tender and flavorful, and while the Cheeze Wiz was a good option it’s a bit salty for me and I go with Provolone next time. Overall this is a solid Philly Cheesesteak and well worth the drive to the West side of Nashville.

I tried a sandwich at IT’Z A Philly Thing. The sandwich was decent. I can’t say I was ecstatic, but I was satisfied. The strawberry lemonade was delicious. There are 5-6 outdoor tables available for dining. The service was good. The staff were very friendly and polite. The working hours seemed a bit unusual to me, opening at 11 am and closing at 6 pm. Personally, I think they could possibly extend their hours until 9 pm. However, I understand they have their reasons. Will I come back a second time? Probably yes, rather than no, but it won’t be anytime soon.

I tried calling to verify they were open, but didn’t get an answer. Took a chance and drove almost an hour to Bellevue after checking out their website and Google Reviews. Boy am I glad I did! I’ve had authentic South Philly Cheesesteak and this was definitely the real deal! Tried the steak and chicken, both were BOMB! Delicious fries too.
