Corrrtadddoooo and Annie is why you come here….I mean the location and atmosphere too but yeah, the Cortado was fantastic and Annie did a great job recommending some lattes.
I love the Lenexa Public Market. Plenty of parking, seating, restaurants. We took our coffees outside and just hung out by the fire. Chefs kiss!

Mr D’s is within the Public Market. The atmosphere is very friendly, clean and pleasant. They have a variety of pastries as well as a good selection of coffee and teas. We found it to be our go to place while visiting in the area. We were impressed by the efficiency of the order process. Our coffee was always great. Particularly nice was the outside seating area with fire pits and comfortable chairs.

I hired Mr. D’s as a vendor for a birthday breakfast party with 45 people in the Kitchen event space at Public Market. I wanted a hot latte bar, coffee, and donuts. Johnny was fantastic at brainstorming how the latte bar could work best with all the fixings. He is personable, friendly, and truly cares about the happiness of the customer. He put in extra work to make the event go off without a hitch—and of course his delicious donuts, lattes, and coffee were a hit with guests.

I hardly ever get to experience a moment of self-care and I chose Mr. D’s after my friends referred me here. I chose a white chocolate macadamia nut latte with oatmilk and a freshly warmed almond croissant. Not only was the atmosphere welcoming for my first time, I also didn’t feel pressured to immediately make a choice. The croissant was SO delicious and the coffee was quite possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. I’m a mom of 4, I promise I’ve had a LOT of coffees. I will absolutely be returning the next time I have a moment for myself.

Delicious, robust coffee at Mr. D’s. Situated in Lenexa City Center. Had a decaf Americano and it was splendid. Friendly service that was quick. Easy access to the kiosk for a great cup of joe!

Coffe is good. Way too high priced for just a black coffee though. I also love a London Fog but $6!!! No thanks. Didn’t have food because I’m not a huge “sweet” eater. Atmosphere ok but this location was in busy Lenexa City Center market and so it was loud and I feel the flow of the facility was difficult to maneuver. Yeah it’s just a coffee counter but you actually have to know to walk clear around to what appears to be the back side to pick up drink. With no one telling you this!
The counter w/food is cluttered or so high that it was hard for employees to see that I walked up. Very friendly employee waited on me this time. As opposed to first time there, 1 year ago. I had no idea where to order, as it was incredibly busy and everyone seemed scattered in job task. Finally after ordering, my drink sat and became luke warm because I was not told to walk clear around the counter to pick up my drink. None of them acknowledged my drink was sitting there ready nor acknowledged that I was just standing there clearly waiting at a diff section of the counter (like another individual). Finally I wandered to ask an employee how much longer (15min already) when she rudely pointed out my drink location. Did not offer apology or to even warm up. 2nd experience was much better. Hoping they will adjust cost to keep me a customer.

Ordered a Chai Tea. Taste is good but prices of drinks is wrong. No attendant was present for a while so we waited. When we asked why the price was different than listed she replied that her boss is aware of the typo and hasn’t done anything. She stated she has told him numerous times.
