Baldys has been a Central Oregon BBQ staple for a couple of decades. If we were talking Baldy’s of 2010 I’d be saying 5 star food. The last 10 years or so I really feel like the food has gotten a lot more inconsistent across all three locations. There are days like today the food is top notch, and there are other days where it is pretty bad. I definitely recommend the restaurant, but wish I could say it’s not a dice roll as to which Baldy’s you’re going to get. Smothered fries, brisket, pulled pork and the half chicken are always great. Baked beans and cornbread are solid side choices!

Ordered the burnt ends to go, came out
In a cardboard container that was leaking a ton of liquid, meat was warm to cold in temp, bbq sauce just a runny liquid, it was so messy I couldn’t get the container out of the bag and just had to rip the bag open, tasted ok for cold meat…..I have had a completely different experience at the location on Century dr.

Good location: hard to see, shares building with another restaurant. Nicely decorated. Waitstaff was friendly & accommodating. We ordered the full rack of ribs & pork sliders. Food was delicious and prepared well. We also had a couple of good Cocktails. Would come back again.

Delicious food! Got the combo #2. Jen was super helpful up front. Smokey ribs, pulled pork on point, chicken was tender and moist, brisket was cooked to perfection. Only criticism is the brisket was cut with the grain; which means I had to use my teeth. Still tender to cut with a fork. Baked beans were so good, like I wish I had more room in my belly. Coleslaw was crisp and perfectly sauces. Will be back again and again and again.

Was amazing and more food than 2 of us could eat, made for awsome leftovers the next day. Brisket was flavorful on its own no need for sauce! Pulled pork was just as good! Juicy and flavorful! Definitely going back next time we are in town!

Amazing experience here! This is the best barbecue I’ve had in a long time! We are visiting from Portland Oregon and definitely need one of these at home. Our waitress was named Jen and she was super nice and awesome customer service. I had the barbecue brisket salad and it’s probably one of the best salad I’ve ever had. The meat was so delicious. I had a half and half marble brisket and they even had homemade buttermilk ranch dressing.. Thank you so much for being so yummy. We might have to make the drive over from Portland just for the food.❤️
