From the many rivers that kiss this land to the people who’ve kept the traditions and heritage of Punjabi cooking alive, Kikli is a celebration of simpler times, of eating together and making bread together as a community, of a vibrant culture that’s inclusive, welcoming, warm and exciting. And just the way Kikli, is a joyous celebration of the Punjab’s culture – the food, drinks, decor, dance, music and rituals at Kikli are a celebration of Chef Amninder Sandhu’s Punjabi legacy.

In Kikli, a Punjabi restaurant in Delhi there’s no butter chicken
‘I want Kikli to reflect the generosity of Punjab’ | Condé Nast Traveller …
Reviews
The cocktails served were excellent, and the restaurant’s location in the heart of Delhi adds to its appeal. We ordered Punchline, Tawa Finger Fish, Mewadar Keema with Butter Naan, and Khali Gajar ka Halwa. Every dish was unique, flavorful, and reflected the authentic taste of Punjabi cuisine.
Overall, this restaurant offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the true essence and richness of Punjabi food. I would highly recommend this place for both the quality of food and the exceptional service.
A special thanks to Ashwin, who took great care of us and ensured smooth service throughout. Highly recommended!
It’s a great place to go with family and friends! We tried their starters – paneer tikka, chapli kabab, chapte mutton chaap… and paneer tikka had an amazing presentation, super unique! The chapli kabab was soft and really good
We also tried their chicken pakode – they were amazing! And the chapte mutton chhap was great too! We tried one more thing – their Murg mirchi Cream… it was OUTSTANDING! It was like a creamy, buttery chicken dish, totally different from what you’d get outside. They’ve used pure butter and cream to make it, giving it a super rich flavor
For drinks, we had rabdi lassi… it was SO good and super refreshing!
For dessert, we had jalebi with rabdi – it was unique, you don’t get this combo everywhere! Their dessert was awesome – jalebi made in desi ghee, pure rabdi, and garnished with dry fruits… yum!
Definitely try this restaurant with family and friends, it’s a great spot!
Everything was flavorful, but the choley patti kulche truly stood out and were the highlight of the meal. Kulcha was extremely soft , tasted so good with chole .
The service was excellent, and a special mention to Akash, who was extremely helpful, and ensured we had a great experience throughout.
Delicious food, amazing service, and a great vibe overall. Highly recommended
We chose outdoor seating while indoor was warm and cozy with two lighted large windows showing peepal tree.
Satpura chaat, started with this at first. Then tried Lassi 2.0 which was a unique cocktail.
Next, tried half plate Raan Pulav which was the main reason for my visit. Raan was very tasty loved it.
Kali gajar halwa was good too. Not at all high in sugar served with icecream loved it.
Overall, staff specially Ashish, was nice and ambiance was good.
Our favourites were the Chicken Kadhai, Lasanwali Palak, Padoliwali Dal, Mutton Boti Kebab, and their signature Cider Singh drink. The layered roti was a must-try too!
The ambience at Kikli is beautiful, with thoughtfully designed dining spaces that create a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. Portion sizes are generous, and they’re also very accommodating toward gluten-free and dairy-free preferences.
Overall, a wonderful dining experience. If you’re in CP and craving elevated Punjabi flavours, Kikli is absolutely worth a visit!
I went to this restaurant with my friend and we were welcomed in a super grand way, with Dhol,, As we entered, they played the dhol, showered us with flowers… and the sitting arrangement outside was awesome! There was an open kitchen on the left where the food was being made, and on the right was a glass-enclosed indoor seating .
It’s a great place to go with family and friends! We tried their starters – paneer tikka, chicken pulao, thick gravy chicken
We also tried their chicken roast with thick gravy- they were amazing !! It was, delicious chicken dish, totally different from what you get outside.
After main course we had Kheer , which was delicious, giving it a super rich flavor .
