People go to Guthrie’s for two things: chicken fingers and sauce. Apparently, Guthrie’s in Thomasville has begun filling their sauce cups to about 1/3 capacity. When I asked the young man up front about it, he stated that the Tallahassee store also does this.
It is customary and expected that a sauce cup be full, or at least nearly so…
If it costs more to make sauce, that’s fine. Increase the cost of the box or an extra sauce by $.20 or whatever. Skimping on the sauce that customers pay for is a cheap and dishonest way to squeeze a few extra cents out of your customers.
The attached pictures were the levels of sauce in the cups as they were given to us. No dipping had occurred at the point they were taken.
I’ll start going to Zaxby’s instead. At least there I know the sauce cups will be full…

I can see why this place is rated so low. They were out of Guthrie’s sauce. Out of coleslaw and they don’t have Diet Coke. The fries and tenders were cooked in old grease because they were so brown and had an old grease taste. The floor itself was greasy too. My sister almost busted her butt on the slick floor just going to the bathroom. Service was friendly. Management needs to be fired if they can’t keep products in stock.

I really can’t speak on the atmosphere but the drive-in line is long most times since the food is made fresh. The food is great and hot!

Walked in this afternoon & the lady who took mine & my boyfriends order was very friendly.. We ordered our food, and noticed a couple who was giving us terrible looks.. and comes to find out the boy was the cook.. he took his time leaving his gf to go make our food. Now knowing he works there, he was absolutely inappropriate with his gf while on the clock, and not friendly at all. Me and boyfriend couldn’t even sit down because the place was very nasty & the tables were not clean. I wanted to get a refund instantly.. We got our food & noticed my boyfriend did not have any sauce or toast in his box.. we had to come back in and then we asked what was the cooks name.. later identified as “Chris”. Chris was so worried about making out with his girlfriend instead of getting orders complete. We went $25 dollars on terrible chicken, and just a terrible experience. We will not be coming back.. & The word will get shared!! The chicken is terribly dry and the food was not put together properly at all! so disappointed.

I’m a Guthrie’s fan in other places so I stopped in the new one in Thomasville. Well they don’t offer the Guthrie’s snack like others, so I ordered a chicken sandwich (no picture on drive-thru) and asked if it had lettuce, the guy said no. Waited for order to find lettuce with all my dang sauce on it. I walked back in and asked for sauce and was told 30 cents for sauce no exceptions. I explained that he said the sandwich doesn’t come w lettuce when I asked, that the lettuce had all the sauce on it, and that I didn’t have any pocket change but my order was not correct and I would like sauce on my dang sandwich, he refused with out my 30 cents… I walked out got the lettuce and 30 cents, handed him both and got my sauce. The food was great as usual but the customer service skills need to be sharpened. (

The chicken is okay but it isn’t anything special. It isn’t any better than a zacadoos or a zaxbys. The food isn’t bad but I would rather have gone to another chicken place. The bread is pretty good though along with the seasonings on the fries. So I will give them that, and the sauce is also pretty good along with the service. So I do recommend coming here to try it, but it isn’t anything special.

We’ve been waiting 15 minutes for our order in the drive thru and absolutely NO ONE is inside the restaurant and no one in front of us. They are also out of cups so nooo drinks. It’s 5:55 in the afternoon…so it’s not like we were here at an odd hour. Annnnd now they tell us they burned our fries. hahhahaha. The employees are nice and polite, though. ***UPDATE 2 out of 3 of us ended up sick after eating there.

2 times in 2 days that they have gotten an my order wrong. even asked both times and they confirmed it was right. drive all the way home and boom. WRONG. how hard is it to just make a PLAIN chicken sandwich.
i will say they did make it right. but just frustrating to drive all the way back home and then back to town for a corrected order.
