Raven was a great waitress! Food extremely well presented and delicious flavor combination. Parmesan panko crusted rockfish with gnocchi and roasted tomatoes. The balsamic reduction was just the right touch.

My husband and I attended the Guyette and Deeter Auction preview then had dinner here at the Hunter’s Tavern. Very comfortable room, nice decor. Spacious and cool. The weather was quite hot ( mid July) which is why I mention this. Our waitress was terrific! So pleasant, fun and accommodating. Our dinners were delicious. My entre was a perfect crab cake. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Chef’s Kiss to the Hunter’s Tavern
Made quick reservations online and was seated quickly. The service was outstanding and the food could have been in Eastern Shores best magazine with its presentation and flavor combinations. We ordered 5 dishes and each was better than the next. Highly recommended for couples who like fine food, for friends if you like to drink and family if you want to stay in the hotel. Hats off and napkins on at the Hunters Tavern.

It was an unexpected buffet breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised. The sausage was cooked perfectly, cream chipped beef, French toast and various pastries. Well done! Oh and the coffee was very good as well.
Visited again for lunch, extremely fast service and ordered the soup du jour which was mushroom soup, absolutely delicious and complex, going just for the soup would have been worth it. The meal was the market priced fried shrimp and fries, which was very good, especially the tarter sauce, that might have been the best part, actually. The shrimp were well cooked and not over breaded. The fries were a bit salty but still delicious. Another win for Hunters Tavern.
Update: Brunch 9/21/2025
Brisket steak and eggs, utterly perfect. The beernaise sauce over the steak must have been squeezed straight from the nut sack of Zues, absolutely divine! Perfect Sunnyside up eggs, and great potatoes. One more win for Hunters Tavern. I hope they are paying their staff well, because they are crushing it.

Great food, service and vibe. We went for brunch and had a full spectrum of food – all of which was delicious. We shared a waffle and the muffin/bread plate – super tasty! We then went for savory with meatloaf, fried green tomatoes and something that had eggs and what was basically a fancy ham sandwich – all incredible!

Our meals were positively delicious.
