Great place for crabs, seafood and traditional Korean fare. Been coming here 18+ yrs. Same family owners that care about the food tastes. Can get crowded on weekends peak but otherwise seating is easy. Ask for the window view if available. They have the best views of the ocean extending beyond the Palos Verdes peninsula. Keep in mind this place is priced for the setting and it’s not a cheap meal when you do a sit down… especially for larger families. There are kids options that are very reasonable, while adults can gorge on the delicious (but pricy) fresh crabs, shrimps and lobsters.

I had the most wonderful first-time experience at Redondo Beach Crab House. From the moment we walked in, we were enchanted by the quiet, peaceful ambiance. The large windows provide a breathtaking view of the ocean, and we were treated to a magnificent sunset as we ate. You can even hear the sound of the waves, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere.

We ordered a stream corn on the cob, hot, green tea. the spicy fish soup, and it was a revelation. It was served like a hot pot, overflowing with incredibly fresh seafood of the day, including succulent shrimp and fish. The broth was rich and spicy, and it came with a generous mix of cabbage, tofu, kimchi, pickles, and other Korean-style vegetables. The freshness of the ingredients truly stood out.

The clam chowder was good, I specifically went to Redondo Beach Crab House because they serve it in a bread bowl, but bread could have been a but more baked or better in general. 8/10.
When it comes to crab, it was the worst crab I have ever had in my whole life, it had bitter taste… the aftertaste was also not pleasant. 1/10

Great food but expensive. You can get the same food for a cheaper price next door. If you want a nice quiet place away from the crowd, this may be the place. Sat right next to the window, and the sound of the wave makes everything better. We had a party of more than 6, and there is an automatic 15% gratitude fee, which is okay, but service could have been better. They barely checked on us until we went up and asked for assistance. Typical boiled and steam seafood, not very Asian for being a Korean owned restaurant. Seafood is great but I wish there was more options to how the seafood can be cooked. Spent more than $475 for a party of 8.

Our first time eating here. Overall a great experience. Great customer service and food was fresh and delicious. Sat down for a quiet meal enjoying ocean view. I especially was pleased not to have to stand in several long line to purchase food items separately like in popular place in the pier. Definitely will come back.

This is a tradition Korean restaurant, so don’t expect for better quality service. You pay the tips 15% at the front desk before sitting down, this is wired. So after you get the seat, don’t expect anyone to care about you!!! Price, of course it is pricy, you paid for the better view! Food is also simple cooking, most of steaming. The crab is fresh, Seafood soup is the best with Kimchi! You will have better views for windows tables.

I bring the kids here every summer after playing on the beach and riding some waves. Yes, it costs a bit more than some of the other spots, but it’s indoor, quiet, clean, table service, and a nice beach/oceam view, so grab a table by the windows.
We always try something new and different, and we’re never disappointed.

If you ever visit Redando beach you should stop by this place. The food was out of this world. Fresh and delicious, the service was excellent and the price was not bad for all the food we ordered. We started off with the fresh live shrimp and abalone it was yummy. Shrimp head fried was very good also. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

My bill came out to $94 for only 3 plates of food. We order 2 fish plates with vegetables, 1 Cajun shrimp and a corn on the cob. We told the waiter that we wanted rice and they never even put it on the ticket. The “vegetables” they gave us was just potatoes, onions and really salty tomatoe sauce.
And once we told another waiter they forgot our rice, turns out they didn’t put it on the ticket and they gave us one rice for “free”.
They also charge 15% gratuity that is forced upon the customer.
We expected a lot more than each plate of food costing $25 ( when normally it’s $16-$18) and everything on paper plates and plastic utensils.
Won’t be coming here anytime soon.
This was also the 3rd time I came here and I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but, no more
