I met my son and his wife for his birthday dinner. He had told me that they had very good barbecue. Both the atmosphere and the food was good. I was impressed that even In the Heat of the summer they had air conditioning air Jets pointed towards the tables that were outside. It seemed to keep the bugs away.

Y’all… EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!! It literally taste as if there was a team of well experienced grandmothers cooking!!! The greens were on point!!! The beans, mac-n-cheese, catfish, smoked chicken, brisket, the CORNBREAD… ALL FRESH… ALL GREAT!!! Y’all… go see for yourself!!! I brought my youth group. We had 20 with us and we paid, sat, and ate in a very efficient manner!! Service was great!!! The GM (Mr. Donovan) was very personable and hospitable!!! If you are in the Rome area… TRUST MEEEE…. runnnnn to Jim & Nicks!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!

Food is good. Service is good for the most part. Brisket was tender and sides are good. They forgot our drinks. it wasn’t busy so I’m not sure how that happened. Atmosphere is good and they have plenty of seating. It’s a decent BBQ joint. I’d go back if I’m ever on the mood for brisket. definitely the best in Rome!

We ordered, took at least half an hour waiting for our food. They did not add the fries and ketchup for the kid meal although we asked. overall staff had frowns and were not happy. The first barbecue chicken came out not all the way cooked and fatty pieces. The second barbecue chicken looked fine but overall had no taste. The burger came out looking like it set there for a while. The lettuce was stale. There was no ketchup or salt and pepper on the tables. Overall not the best experience

Went last Saturday with a group. 4 adults one child, $92 and the BBQ was mid! I got the smoked chicken. Wasnt impressed. Oh and the slaw has mustard in it, which i didn’t eat. Clean though & good service. We went during lunch, so wasn’t busy. Idk just heard a lot of hype, and I much rather had Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse, for the $ 92.

Ordered food to go from this location and our food was fresh and hot, the employees working the to go order counter were fantastic and helpful. The Cajun turkey is my favorite thing to order here and of course the biscuits are amazing. They were fresh and hot, soft and perfectly cooked.

We love having dinner here! The cheese biscuits are addicting! I love the buttermilk battered chicken fingers & the half white meat chicken plate!! Most the sides are amazing as well, definitely recommend the mac&cheese & baked beans!! We are always greeted & have friendly service! The little Blondie girl that’s been there for a while at the Rome, GA location is always super sweet & we love seeing her there!!!

Yall! They have the BEST loaded baked potato. I’ve had it twice in the past week. And ate off of each one twice. 1 baked potato is easily 2 or more meals. And their biscuit are just omg. 20 stars to Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ in Dothan, AL.
