I love this place, perfect place to spend time with family especially for special occasions. The ordering is straightforward, they have a wide variety of pizza, it tasted so good and best part. Not greasy. They serve beer and wine and have tvs if you want to watch a game. There’s also an arcade. The owner. Joe is so nice and warm person. We felt so welcomed. Definitely a must try and one of those hidden gems in the city.

Our family has been coming here for nearly 14 years. We regularly bring our friends and family over in large groups.. The owner and staff are very accomodating, and the pizza here is top notch. What can I say, but that we absolutely love this place. Saturday karaoke is a bonus and is a fun break from the daily grind. Papa Joes is practically a home away from home for us, and we love every minute of our trips here. You gotta try it for yourself. You might just come back for 3rd and 4ths….

We decided to get in the car and drive away from the hotel we were staying out for some local pizza. While there was plenty Downtown we opted for just a little farther out and found Papa Joe’s. It had some pretty good reviews and looked like a little shop we’d love. The parking lot is pretty busy and we drove past the pizza shop itself at first because the signage and lighting was so dark. We turned around in the lot and drove again where we saw some of the window signage. We were greeted instantly and looked over the menu for a moment. There is a smaller seating area with an arcade area as well. I even saw some signs they offer birthday party options, how fun! It was pretty busy when we arrived so we picked one of the last tables. We chose the meat lover pizza, wings, some beer on tap and soda. Service was great. The man helping us was funny, friendly, answered all of our questions and brought our food over once ready. While I don’t typically care for baked wings these were phenomenal. They were crispy on the outside, the kick was good with a hint of smoke flavor. The chicken wasn’t dry and wings good size. Best part no huge sauce mess. I don’t mind sauced sings; I love them actually, but these were the best I’ve had. The pizza came out soon after. It looked good, perfect size and flavor good. I’d of preferred a crispier crust, but every thing else was on point. The place itself looked like they were short a little help and some of the tables were piling up with glasses, plates and such, but as soon as they had a chance someone was picking up. Great stop at a local Riverside joint.

Papa Joes pizza is delicious! Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. Everything on the menu sounds, looks, and even tastes yummy. My family loves karaoke on Saturday nights. Football games on Sundays, enough tvs to show every game. Kids have a great time in the game room. Also, a nice place to host a team party. Staff is very friendly. Eli is one of the kidest people you will ever meet. He always takes his time to greet every one hello, check on them and say “Thank you for stopping bye”. I definitely will return and encourage others to give it a try.

The pizza parlor was very family oriented. The service is super friendly. They had football games playing on their TV’s. Other than the ski hockey game needing to be upgraded, the arcade was a nice size to entertain the kids while waiting for the food. We will be returning.

Went today for lunch and was very impressed. We had a cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, potato wedges and manicotti. The pizza was so good, the dough had that chewy bite to it, the cheese was really stringy like mozzarella should be and was perfectly cooked. The manicotti was delicious as were the potato wedges and the mozzarella sticks. Eli was very nice and accommodating. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere as well. We will definitely be back. Thank you Eli

I’ve been living in Riverside for over 10 years and have passed by this place on numerous occassions. I finally stopped by for lunch to try the pizza.
The food was delicious and tasted fresh. The service was extremely friendly. The restaurant gave me “local hangout” type of vibe that the kids in the ball club would definitely enjoy.
I am returning for dinner soon with the family.

Eli was very friendly and made the experience even better. I noticed he knew almost everyone who walked in, which shows he has a great history with the customers. If you’re looking for a good pizza lunch, I definitely recommend stopping by!
