Excellent place for all superfruits and granola. You can build your own or pick from the list on the wall. See my picture for the options. It is really good, fresh and very tasty. The size is big as well so it can be shared if you don’t have a big stomach but it is so good that you might wanna keep it all to yourself. The store design is fun as well.

Service here is terrible. I’ve gone to this location multiple times. It takes them over 10 minutes to make one order. Probably has something to do with one person making the bowls while the other 2 are starting to close the store around 6:30. No sense of urgency or interest in really helping the customer.
I also recommend paying cash. When you pay with card they don’t even bother to turn around the screen for you to decide how much to tip. And if you question it, they just tell you “I hit no tip for you”. One, I don’t trust that you hit no tip for me. Two, if they do actually hit no tip and just decide that for you, shows you what they think of their own service if they don’t think they, themselves deserve a tip.

My visit to Playa Bowls in Chester was excellent, primarily thanks to their consistently delicious smoothies – truly a highlight! The atmosphere, as expected from Playa Bowls, was very pleasant and inviting. My only minor suggestion would be for the staff to engage a bit more with customers. It was a great experience overall and I’ll definitely be back for more of those tasty bowls and smoothies!

Super fresh fruit, wonderful açaí bowls. Better than ice cream and definitely healthier. Hubby loves going for ice cream and since he tried Playa Bowls he prefers this to overly sweet ice cream and it’s healthier too

The young girl at the register…I think her name was Megan. She was very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t decide which smoothie to order and she helped me decide. She knew the menu so well…I was very impressed with her ‘Playa Bowl’ knowledge.

This is the 2nd time I have come here where my order was made incorrectly. I asked for the Pura Vida bowl with Nutella instead of honey, added bananas, and asked for extra granola. My boyfriend asked also for Pura Vida with no granola, no honey, and asked for bananas too. Last time we have came here, he was given nutella. Now this time, he was given nutella and granola as well. I tried to cut slack the first time. If they were out of blueberries, they should have told us that they were. Unless they misinterperted me and thought I wanted bananas instead of blueberries. I hope there wont be a third time this happens to us.
