I wanted to like this place but I won’t be back. The food was just okay, the service – same. Neither outstanding. We ordered two meals, the service was weird, each item came out one by one. We didn’t order sushi yet we received ginger and wasabe before anything else, so I ate their ginger as my salad. First a bowl of miso soup came out , just one, then about 10 minutes later a basket of tempura. Another 10-15 minutes later the udon noodle soup ($15.99) comes out, then after another 10-15 minutes a bento box. It was a strange way to fill our order which left one of us watching while the other was eating part of their meal. I ordered spicy chicken, but got the bento box ($18.99). This was my first time here, so I’m not sure if that’s how they serve all their main dishes… but the bento box was more like a lunch item. The udon soup left a lot to be desired. Hardly any noodles, lacking in flavor, just not that good. The staff seemed very neutral, very quiet, not a real warm and friendly place. Not a place I’d go back to.

The food was really good and fresh. Part of our order was incorrect but we didn’t make a fuss and ate it anyway. They were very friendly and attentive. Comfortable atmosphere. Clean.

Gross. Nasty. Do not believe the 5-star reviews! They must have been bought. I have eaten Sushi at many places around the world and have to say this was the grossest and most disgusting experience I’ve ever had. Spicy salmon and spicy tuna roll were 2/5 and 3/5 respectively. Didn’t taste great and weren’t done well. However, the “baked salmon” roll was 0/5. Top half was luke warm, bottom half cold as if it came straight out of refrigeration. That’s probably why they served it faster than I’ve ever had it served (it usually takes a while to BAKE the salmon…). Flavor and texture were horrible as well. The coke I had also had a funny aftertaste, so I couldn’t even use it to flush down the nasty “baked salmon” bits. Should have been warned by being the only patron there in the middle of lunch time. I honestly cannot imagine how this place can keep their doors open. The only redeeming fact I can mention is that the waitress didn’t charge me for the baked salmon after I complained about how gross it was. Either way, go to subway next door for a more pleasant experience than at this nasty place.

We were craving sushi after the Lavender Festival but couldn’t make it to our normal spot near home. So, we decided to try this spot and I must admit it was pretty delicious. It hit the spot perfectly. The waitress was incredibly kind and friendly and the food came really quick. No complaints.

SO bland and uninspiring. Seriously, if you’re after grocery store quality sushi at restaurant level prices, look no further. Everything was so flavorless and just tasted so old. The tempura in the roll had definitely been sitting out for hours, it was cold and greasy and the rice was chewy in a bad way.
Everything had just one flavor, the salmon had no taste, it just blended in with the rice.

Awful food didn’t taste fresh at all. We came back after the remodel, and we’re disappointed. The California & Boston seemed like Sater Bros boxed sushi 3 days past sales date. When we arrived we laughed at the no refund labels taped to the table but by the end of our meal we knew why they had it. We didn’t finish just paid and left.

Exceptionally delicious I did not give a try as many rolls as I wanted to because there is no all you can eat but the food that I did try was amazing. There’s nothing like fresh sushi. I will definitely be back with the family. I recommend this place if you’re looking for some great quality sushi plenty of parking in the parking lot great areaand check it out for yourself

Paid $62 for a few bites of food!! Was suppose to feed 5 people. Normally would have filled us all up and been overly stuffed. NOT TODAY!
Today was my daughter’s 13th Birthday. She loves sushi so of course we went to our local sushi restaurant. We have gone here plenty of times. Last time we went, we noticed their rolls were a little smaller. Today we got 9 rolls in total. 2 being special rolls that use to fit in a large box, Now small enough to fit together in a small box. 7 were california rolls for the kids to share, some had just crab meat and as small as a penny. Today they were two times smaller then normal. They did not taste as good as they use to. After last times experience and todays visit we will not be returning. We spent over $60 trying to help support our local businesses. I know times are hard, but cutting back on the quality of food is going to lose business!
