This is a quaint little spot new in Moody, easy to pass right by if you’re not looking for it. Nothing fancy at all and very limited seating. We went on a Friday evening and we were the only ones eating there. The menus were all in Spanish but thankfully it included a brief description of the main words in English as well so you’re not ordering blindly. My wife opted for the chicken sopes and I ordered the enchiladas potosinas in a mix of available proteins. We also ordered a side of Mexican street corn to share. In addition to your entree they offer a small toppings bar that you can add to your dish. It featured some items like, onions, cilantro, cucumbers, pickled carrots and cabbage and about 5 different sauces, 2 mild and 3 spicy. All of the food was really good. My only slight gripe is the shredded chicken in my dish was dry, but not after adding my selected sauce. The service was fast and friendly. Now the reason for taking a star away on the rating. It was quiet when we entered but then they turned on the television and began playing a movie. A movie which included nudity and foul language. Nothing I want in a dining experience or anywhere else for that matter. Hopefully, this was a fluke and not what would normally be done. Many items on the menu looked really good. We will likely return to try some other options but will likely opt for carry out if the TV is on.

I’ve been coming to this place for months now, the service is good and efficient. The menu is in Spanish but it has English translations. It has some amazing authentic dishes like tamales. My husband loves the birria and claims it’s the best ever (we’ve had it at several places in Alabama and Texas). I love the tostadas. The ingredients are so fresh and amazing. I do miss their toppings bar but they give you the different sauces at the table now. They also have dessert and agua frescas. Definitely a hidden gem!

I’ve loved coming to this place when the owner was here but today I stopped by and I was extremely disappointed from the sopes being HARD to some of the meats plus chips where so salty and the cheese dip more water than cheese. Not to mention the hot sauce just being blazing hot without flavor. I don’t think I’ll be back soon.

Come on Moody Alabama! Yall got a fire ass Mexican restaurant right in the neighborhood and the parking lot is empty? Come on Moody Alabama let’s fill up this fine establishment and eat some tacos! Just had a huge burrito and it was slamming! Everything was right. Food was on point! Staff was super super nice. As you can see 5 stars across the board! If they offered 10 stars they would have gotten ten stars. Friend had the sandwich ( sorry can’t spell what it was) had ham egg steak in a pocket with lettuce and all the fixings he enjoyed it very much! And the mild green sauce? Yeah a must try! Thanks to the wonderful staff for
the great experience. Really hope to see that parking lot full there Moody inhabitants!

This was my family & I first time here. I would’ve given 5 stars if we could’ve had chips and salsa. I asked for it, but I’m guessing that it’s not offered. Everything else was delicious though. We’ll be back again.
I didn’t go here today, but I was close by and Google tagged me for a new review.
