We went to Jocelyn’s Mexican Grille for dinner last night for the first time. It was hands down the best service and food that we have had since moving to the area. The food was so fresh and authentic. Our waitress was the best very attentive even with all the kids in our party. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the amazing food and service! We were a party of 7

The waitress was sweet, but that was the only good thing about our visit.

I order “green sauce”, they charged $2.29 for a small bowl, it smelled, looked, and tasted horrible.

I ordered the ground beef chimichanga with white queso, when she brought it, the smell of it nauseated me…. I cut it open, and it had so much grease it was crazy, very little meat, I took one nibble and it was disgusting….

I ordered chicken nuggets and fries for my 7 year old and they were both mushy like they had been microwaved.

We have been wanting to try this place for years. We walked in, and no one greeted us. It seemed like they were surprised we were there. We pointed to a table, and they nodded and said we could sit wherever. We sat down, and our waitress was hard to understand. It was a mix of speaking softly and with a hard accent. Got water to drink and Longview water or this part of Longviews water is not good. So my wife got a diet coke. They have delicious and fresh chips, and they bring out their salsa. It wasn’t amazing, but they do have an alternate green salsa that was better and fresh. You have to get upon request. Definitely recommend that. We got the triple dip appetizer, but do not recommend it. It was basically an avocado smoothie and mac and cheese sauce x2. I ordered the Carne asada Torta and 5 street tacos(asada and chorizo mix), and my wife ordered the Pastor Gorditas. It took 45 minutes to get our food, there were only 2 customers in the restaurant at 11am. Us larger people had eaten 3 baskets of chips while we waited and were VERY tempted to leave as we were pretty much full…. it finally came out, and it was DELICIOUS, fresh, and well seasoned food. My wife loved her Gorditas, she tried them for the first time, and the AL Pastor was EXTREMELY juicy. This is like a tex-mex place but has a secret authentic Mexican side that they don’t really push to us gringos. But definitely recommend that part of their menu.

When you walk in the interior design looked to be clean and newish. The table design were cute and different. The music they were playing is good helped the time pass. The chips and salsa is actually good though they taste better with salt on em. The yellow queso is questionable and not really the best. No one came to the table to refill our drinks in the first 30 minutes of our wait. The free margaritas were actually really good, they tasted like spiked lemonade and they came in a Mason jar with salt on the rim. I think the free margaritas were put in place to try to distract you from the decades long wait you will experience to get your food. I am writing this review as I am waiting for my food 40 minutesof wait. They kept walking by with to go food, but we just kept being ignored and just kept waiting. When the food came it was smack. Very much worth the wait. Though you could tell the oil needed to be changed because the chips quality decreased. The taco salad bowl was dark and was not good. The enchiladas were apparently very good and they both had a clean plate. The staff was all nice just that wait was insane. I am assuming they are understaffed.
Got there at 4:16 left at 5:40.

I absolutely love to come out on the weekend and enjoy the food as well as the atmosphere of Jocelyn’s. The food is authentic and cooked fresh to order, the salsa you can order to taste in mild and hot. I prefer the hot! They keep the The service is quick and hospitable. Portion sizes differ from half to full order I promise you will let here stuffed and satisfied.

Who does love Mexican food?? With so many options, Jocelyn’s rises above the rest! Their queso, chipotle fajita, and salsa can’t be bet. We tried the churros for the first two me today and Oh. My. Gosh!!! The best churro I have ever had! #GoogleGal

Good restaurant , fast service and tasty food. We were on the road trip when we got a taste for Mexican food. We pulled off the interstate and happen too find this place. We were seated right away, the waitress came in 5 minutes and asked what we were going to drink. Then informed us on special and so we ordered. The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to ask for more salsa and chips. That particular waitress was not very attentive but other , older one came with chips and salsa and apologized for the wait. Food took 15 minutes to get ready. It was good. My daughter and I enjoyed it.

Went there yesterday with my husband for an early dinner and ordered the enchilada dinner and a gigante burrito, the meat was so spicy with chili powder it was actually really disgusting and made it very unenjoyable. We definitely will not be returning as authentic Mexican food is not spicy, it’s flavorful but the meal from this restaurant was not flavorful
