The Taste of Chi-Town aka Get The Stix lives up to it’s name. We are located INSIDE the Southside Discount Mall in the back! We bring your favorite dishes from Chicago, IL to Jonesboro, GA which include Gyro Cheese Burger, Italian Beef, Maxwell Street Polish, Chicagos Famous Lemon Pepper Seasoning, and Mild Sauce. Please keep in mind our food will come seasoned to perfection and a lot of our meals are not gluten or vegan free. We do have items for our vegan and vegetarian customers. All of our meals(unless stated otherwise) come with a side and are prepared to order. Please order ahead on our website if you can to minimize us being distracted by the phones. *** Edit*** I was able to come in and order in person. The staff were awesome and courteous. I have finally have my delicious food. Thank you for your prompt response and professionalism. It is greatly appreciated!***** The food is great! I honestly love it. But getting it is the problem. It is beyond frustrating and inconvenient to place an order and be charged, only for your order to be cancelled and then have to wait for a refund in 3 to 5 business days. I could’ve simply ordered elsewhere. This has been the result the last 5 times I have attempted to order from here. I have even tried to call before hand to ensure it is in stock prior to ordering but no one answers the phone. You would think they would increase their supply to meet demand but it appears not to the case here. I really did not want to go elsewhere but it appears I have no choice.

The food was really tasty and didn’t disappoint . The lady at the window was friendly and helpful , food took about 15 to 20 mins , my 4 for food was I did get a gyro and it was good but not as flavorful as I’d expected especially after tasting the Italian beef but otherwise good . It is located in a discount mall small area but not really for frfr dinning in and it was super hot but you could see they tried to make it a little esthetic with the old school Nintendo and gaming chairs , but overall I think for a Philly cheesesteak or that Italian beef definitely go try

This place is located in the discount mall going towards the back. The customer service was good. The wait was like 20-25 minutes. My food was really salty. Not much flavoring other than saltiness. I had the Italian Beef and sausage combo (sandwich and fries). It was $15.11 total. I will go back to try the Chicago Dogs and polish sausage. Hopefully they won’t be salty.

ordered a italian beef with nacho cheese. received a dry sandwich that i threw away.i ordered nacho cheese i didn’t get any cheese on it or on the side. no one explained nothing about a custom sandwich. the music was way too loud.

This place is so inconsistent with their business. Google says they are open and then you call or drive up there, and they are closed. This is the second Chicago place that has done this. Very disappointing. I will no longer try to support.

This is one of the must go places in Jonesboro. It’s located in South Side Mall…but let me tell you….MAAAAAAAAAN THIS WAS SOOOOOO GOOD I WANTED TO SLAP EVERYONE UP IN THERE. I had the Italian beef birria tacos with hot peppers and beef dipping juice….whole flavor rush. Server and cooks were very entertaining and overall atmosphere makes you forget your at the mall. Will definitely be back to try more items.
