Avoid this place at all costs. Ordered the salmon and buffet. Salad was alright. Other buffet items looked like dog food. Salmon started out as bland and rubbery, and a few bites later it was still frozen in the middle. Got my money back. At least the manager was apologetic. Call to the Steuben County Dept of Health will be on tomorrow’s agenda. I just hope I don’t get sick.

I loved this place when I was a kid, but as I got older it got worse. I heard many rumors, also it being called Ponde’gross’a. Last few times I went I noticed the waitresses are out gathering dishes looking for tips now. Also, the food is ALWAYS cold. I don’t know if it’s just the times I go but I’m not a fan. Also, seems a little overpriced for the small buffet that is provided..

The smell of grease was evident when we entered the restaurant. It is a steak house so I wasn’t surprised but the smell was of old grease. Next we were served our salads which had wilted lettuce. Then we were served when we were half through our salad which is not a good practice. This is minor, but shows the waitress was not well trained. My steak was half edible, the rest was chewed but had to be left on the plate because of the gristle. This should have been a hint to the server that the steak was not satisfactory but I was never asked. My wife didn’t eat her salad because of the wilted lettuce, but she said her steak was tender and edible. That is the reason I gave the two star rating instead of one.

When we came in, no one was there for us to pay. We had to wait a while. Refilling the buffet took a while as well. Food was OK, but not sure I would go again.
