Great experience at Collective Public House! This upscale restaurant serves classic American cuisine with a great selection at the bar. Our server gave us special attention throughout the meal, making sure everything was perfect and that we had what we needed. I’d happily come back for both the food and the excellent service. Ideal place for a business dinner.

This is a great upscale dining option upstairs from Comfort by The Crosseyed Cricket. They have a small but great menu of choice steaks and appetizers. It also has a full bar with great wine choices. The service here is excellent. The food was great and was presented as ordered. The restaurant is very clean. It is easy to find using Google Maps. Parking is along city streets but is free.

My wife and I met a friend here this evening. What a wonderful surprise! All the food was amazing, from the appetizer to the Filet Mignon! Evan, our wine advisor, helped pick out the perfect wine from their three page wine list. I highly recommend you give The Collective a try!

Extremely disappointed. We drove 3 hours for what was supposed to be a nice Valentine’s getaway, and the experience was awful. The chicken and baked potato were both served cold. I ordered a salad, and it was just lettuce and ranch because they were out of vegetables. When I asked for croutons, they brought an entire plate of them. Overall, very poor service and not worth the trip. 0/10 — do not recommend.

My husband and I wanted to try a new restaurant for our anniversary and we had the best evening! A beautiful night on the rooftop. The food was incredible, drinks were amazing, and the service was top notch. Candice and Bryce spoiled us and we will definitely be back. Definitely recommend the salmon and ny strip

The chef was out so I can only review the atmosphere and drinks so far, but if it tells you anything, I’ll be sure to come back to try out the cuisine of this single chef kitchen.

The service was excellent and cocktails carefully crafted. I had been looking for a place with a quality selection of bourbon, whiskeys, and other liqours. There are some but none I’ve experienced this grand and thoughtfully selected. Evansville has never been known to host many a small place with small menu and cocktails that cost more than a case of Busch Latté, but I hope this one stays for quite some time.

The staff truly care about your experience, spend the time to talk to you and share tastes of new concoctions or rare whiskeys. I hadn’t tasted any food but to see an open air kitchen with only one chef is a rarity especially for this “small big” town. The atmosphere is on par with any upscale place you would find in a much bigger city. Has an older style rustix feel with plenty of amenities and comforts of modern renovation.

I will be back and I hope you come to. It’s not common for someone to take this risk to put together a place like this in a town like this. I hope you’ll support it as I will. Join me at the bar, first round’s on me.

Fine dining finally comes to Evansville! Collective is the perfect example of when passion meets profession. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and they have a tremendous selection of wine they’ve sourced you won’t find anywhere close by. They’ve paid close attention to details, from decor to glassware to ingredients, and truly provide and elevated and memorable food experience. I highly recommend their tuna sashimi and their Brussel sprouts with lardon. You will pay a higher price, but for the quality and talent of the chefs and staff, well worth it.

The server made me a delicious mule mocktail and we chatted it up about the area. Very good ambiance with friendly no pressure service. The French onion soup was the best I’ve had–no skimping on the cheese! The sliders were good, but the soup was the star.

A girlfriend and I tried this place around 1700 on a Friday. They were open and welcoming even though we were there right as they opened. Everyone wore masks and they had distancing.

She got a cocktail and their tacos. I got a virgin drink and the pommes frites. We both loved our time there and our culinary creations. Excellent date night or relaxing meeting with old friends.

Reservations were at 5pm. Service started off good. But it took a downhill turn. It took 1.5 hours to get our meals, and then they were not correct or hot. They have one salad on the menu, and then they didn’t even prepare it correctly. Ordered baked potatoes and received fries. Ordered vegetables and received an appetizer instead. Steak was luke warm. Service was slow. I asked for the manager due to all the errors, and the server refused to get this person. It’s a shame because of the location it has potential for a great atmosphere. Our experience was less than adequate, and I currently would not recommend this place due to service, quality, and not getting your money’s worth for the price you pay.
