Food and drinks are a bit on the ordinary side, lots of sweet treats to get. Prices are high, so I do recommend going there in very small groups if you plan to order a lot.
The atmosphere is very calming and cool, bathrooms are tidy, and they have items to occupy children with. Cool place to hang out, but they close very early, which is a big shame, as they could get more service from later hours.
Staff is very sweet, kindly asks you to buy something if you are just hanging around. Once on a hot day, one of the employees asked if I wanted a free water and if I was okay. Very kind and polite.
Highly recommend trying out some of their coffee options, they have unique flavors and are somewhat reasonably priced.

This is a great stop for coffee! I stop multiple times a week and I have never had a bad drink! They have many different coffee creations to try, along with food and treats! My favorite thing that was most recent was their coffee flights! They were the perfect size! What an awesome way to try the town favorites!

St. Clair is lucky to have this place. In every community there needs to be a safe & welcoming environment to come eat, drink, and socialize in a relaxing atmosphere. This is that place. This location has a heritage of being a safe haven for locals both young and old, and of being supportive of the arts. This tradition continues with T.A.P. cafe.
The pizza is delicious and they have a huge selection of hot and cold gourmet coffee drinks. You can’t beat the view of the river if you like watching the freighters go by.
Highly recommend also as a place for remote workers to come and get some work done on their laptops. The vibe is very warm and homey.

I visited this location on a Thursday around lunchtime for a cup of coffee. I ended up purchasing a specialty iced coffee and a personal pizza, actually! Both are delicious!
They have a full menu of hot and cold coffee drinks along with smoothies and cheese. Oh also sodas as well. They also serve sliders, personal pizzas, sandwiches, and bakery goods. The pizza is actually pretty delicious.
Also the atmosphere is very cool and seems like a comfortable place to hang out for a little bit if you need it to do some work or catch up with friends. There is a parking lot in the back and there is street parking in the front close to the water. Will definitely come back here

Ordered takeout, got the two burrito bowls and the portions were small for the price. First picture is of the Morning bowl which was a little smaller than I thought it should be for $11 but I was accepting. The second bowl is the sunrise bowl. This is just absolutely tiny for $10. We ordered everything but bread offered with these bowls and this was the portions. For how expensive these breakfast bowls were I expected bigger portions. Great service, looks like a cool place to eat by the waterfront and the cannoli’s looked great. Went back a second time as to not leave a poor review for no reason, same portion issue.

Didn’t take many photos as we just enjoyed the morning.. but, we traveled here for breakfast from Marine City. Highly recommend! This cozy cafe is located on M29 in a shopping center directly across from the riverfront boardwalk.
I tried the signature burrito (11/10) and the mrs had a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. House coffee was fresh, not acidic, and came with 2 free refills for under $3. Many many breakfast options including sweets and a larger drink menu.
Looks like they have ice cream in the summer and a patio. Give Tap Cafe a try!!

Stopped for coffee / smoothies with family. They were superb! Honey Bee Latte was so so good. And was thankful for coloring pages, changing table in womens bathroom (not in mens), and high chair for the kids. Definitely want to go back to try the food.

A really cute café to hang out in while visiting Saint Clair. The location is perfect just across the street from the park.
Enjoyed the view while sitting on the plaza under a shaded pergola while sipping my latte and looking at the freighters as they sailed by on the St. Clair.
Plenty of food, choices, and lots of sweets.
Be sure to visit when weather gets nippy and enjoy the fire pits. It’s always a warm experience. Summer, fall, winter or spring!
