Excellent Mexican joint located in the Foothill movie theater outdoor food court. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for south Orange County. Generally looking to spend under $20 per person. They also sell beer at this location. The salsa bar is impressive wit lots of options that we found to be tasty. We tried the Chile Verde burrito and found it to have excellent flavor, as well as the chips and guacamole which were good. Overall an excellent dining destination if you are looking for Mexican food in the Foothill Ranch area.

I stopped by on a Thursday with a friend and had a great experience! You place your order at the counter, and they bring the food right to your table. The menu offers a nice variety of options at reasonable prices, and there’s plenty of seating both indoors and outside.
We each had three tacos and a margarita, plus an order of churros to share. Everything we ordered was flavorful—the salsa bar was definitely a standout! I’m already looking forward to coming back to try the loaded fries and some of the breakfast items. So glad to have a delicious Mexican spot in the neighborhood!

First time trying La Tia and it was delicious
We ordered some carne asada, carnitas, al pastor, and chorizo tacos, and crispy potato tacos. I highly recommend La Tia!! Best tacos in Foothill Ranch!!! Chips were okay… but the salsa bar has everything you need!!! Oh, don’t forget to get your agua fresca Jamaica ( hibiscus) delicious !!!

Get your potato taco before I buy all of them. I’m so glad it’s here in foothill ranch. When I would go to the mission Viejo the potato taco would sometimes be sold out. That’s how good they are.

Found this place driving through my old stomping grounds in Lake Forest. I am always looking for the best California Burritos in town and this place definitely hit the spot. For starters, the burrito is of moderate size, enough for me to eat 75% of and save the 25% for later. The California Burritos actually have sour cream and guac unlike other places where they make you pay extra.
Also tried their quesobirria tacos which is TO DIE FOR. The consume is perfection and don’t even get me started on their large horchata. Not chalky and watered down — the perfect amount of sweetness.
I have eaten here a total of 3 times now since I discovered it last week. Phone in ahead, order online, or do it in-store. The tacos and burritos here will hit the good spot everytime.

Saw that this place recently opened in the old Rubio’s area by the theater. Decided to give it a go and oh were we pleased we did!!! Food is amazing and the place is really clean. Prices are good for your wallet too! I had the blackened fish tacos and my gf had an assortment of tacos. We both agreed it is our new favorite Mexican food place to go in Foothill Ranch. Highly recommend!!!

I had the Quesatacos with asada, which are very filling. There was a plentiful amount of meat with good flavor.
The courtyard was delightful with Don Covel playing classical music on a Sunday afternoon. The cost was affordable for lunch, averaging around $10 per person for each of us.

I grew up eating birria my whole life. Quinces, weddings, baptisms you name it.
The birria at La Tia Tacos is the real deal. The consomé is authentic and the meat is tender.
