Since the beginning of Woods Place, it has been a successful restaurant and catering business winning various awards including “Best Catfish” and “Best Plate Lunches” in the statewide publication Arkansas Times. We have also been featured on “KATV Pam’s Picks”. We are happy when we receive recognition. However our greatest level of happiness comes from simply serving the Camden community on a daily basis. One of the ways we attempt to better serve the Camden community is with our event venue called River Woods. Contact us about reserving the venue. We are closed every Sunday!

Nice diner with great service and fantastic food. The food isn’t fancy, just plain, good ‘eatin’.
The complimentary rolls and hushpuppies to start were excellent. We all had burgers and sandwiches and have zero complaints. It was amazing.
They were very busy (lunchtime on a Friday) but I definitely don’t feel like we had to wait a long time. The food came out quickly and the server was attentive.
10/10 would recommend and will be back next time I’m in Camden.

Hot sourdough rolls & hushpuppies to start you off. We had delicious hamburgers with fresh made onion rings. No frozen patties here! The catfish & ribs all looked delicious. If you’re in Camden, this place is a must try! There were only 2 tables left when we arrived, so we were just in time!

The tomato soup was excellent and the brisket sliders were FIRE. Tender, tasty, meat. Great sauce, soft rolls. And the rolls and hush puppies you get when you are seated, are awesome. I would have been fine with a basket of those rolls for lunch!

Excellent caterer. Hot catfish and fries and amazing sides. On time and amazing people working our event. Couldn’t ask for a more hometown taste for a conference that Woods out of Camden. They catered our event in El Dorado without a hitch. Highly recommended. Couldn’t ask for a better opening dinner for our conference.

Absolutely loved it here, they don’t cook with salt here but if you would like seasoned meat just ask for it. The selection is large enough for anyone to get full. Not buffet though.

Excellent!!!! Fish PERFECTLY seasoned, slaw was PERFECTLY dressed an tasted excellent & homemade. The tarter sauce was perfect also along with being house made. So if you ever in Camden, Ar, I recommend you check this place out. Thx for the EXCELLENT meal & hospitality.

Great food. I had the bacon cheeseburger, which was made by hand and not premade. Their BBQ sauce is homemade and very good. The complimentary rolls and hush puppies were a nice touch also.

One of the best restaurants we have been to. Both had chicken Fried steak. Large portions with complimentary rolls, Hushpuppies and strawberry cake. Excellent service.

Stopped by here on the way home from vaca. Very nice staff, very delicious food! Wish this place was in my home town! Food is pricey but it’s worth it. Big portion sizes and tastes so good! I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and onion rings. My son had the fried shrimp, fries and salad. They bring out amazing rolls and hush puppies as a free appetizer.
