We had the sweetest little brunch outing at St Honore Bakery in Wake Forest. I took my husband and our two girls during the day and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish.

The bakery itself is charming and bright with a soft Paris inspired feel. It is the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your coffee while admiring the pastries in the display case.

Everything we ordered was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. The pastries were fresh and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet but rich and flavorful. The red heart dessert was a standout. It had a glossy raspberry coating on the outside with red velvet cake inside and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was vibrant and smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. The pear was bursting with flavor and real pear in the center. So pretty, it was hard to dig in!

The girls loved picking out their own treats and it made for such a special family moment. It felt relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for a daytime brunch stop.

We had an excellent time and will definitely be back for another sweet outing.

This cute, little bakery was beyond amazing! We went here because they make trompe-l’œil, realistic looking fruit pastry. We had the lemon, pear, mango, and peach pastry. Our favorite was the lemon. It was so tart and tangy. Pear was light with a subtle flavor…scrumptious!! Mango also had an amazing flavor. Peach was our least favorite. The creme was thicker than the others and maybe it was too sweet for us…
Macaroons were chewy and true to their flavors. We got passionfruit, chocolate raspberry, strawberry lime, and hazelnut Nutella.
We also got a Dubai chocolate croissant and a raspberry lime bun. Both light and fluffy and utterly, insanely good.
Friends had the quiches and both of my friends loved them.
Worth the drive and the price!

The viral desserts were absolutely phenomenal! We drove 1.5 hours and it is well worth it! We received iced cold water to have with our pastries since we dinned in. After our taste test, he asked us which our favorite was and I told him the pear was my #1, and he gave us a little lesson on how difficult pears are to create with and about how taste reference works. Even called me a “true foodie.” We also purchased some for our friends and he boxed and bagged up the desserts to keep safe and cold, also gave us a bag of ice to keep inside our cooler definitely coming back to try the eclairs!

From the moment I walked in, I was completely charmed by Bakery St. Honoré! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful — cozy, spotless, and full of Parisian charm with its pink accents, elegant artwork, and little floral touches. Every corner of the bakery feels thoughtfully designed, and the display cases are filled with picture-perfect pastries that look almost too good to eat.

The desserts are as incredible as they look — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality imported ingredients. I tried the lemon and heart-shaped pastries, and both were divine! You can taste the craftsmanship in every bite — silky mousse textures, delicate layers, and the perfect balance of sweetness.

The staff were so kind and welcoming, taking time to explain the different pastries and making sure everything was packaged beautifully. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the bakery was spotless, and you can tell they use authentic, top-quality ingredients. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both stunning presentation and impeccable flavor, but Bakery St. Honoré nails both effortlessly.

If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop by — it’s a true hidden gem and one of the best bakery experiences I’ve ever had!

I’ve been dying to try the fruit desserts! They were perfect! Not overly sweet! Perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the (owner I think) was super friendly and convinced me to try the tiramisu croissant which was the best decision ever! Out of the fruit pastries I tried (mango, lemon, and peach) mango was my favorite, then peach and lemon (equally they were too good). Definitely check them out!

Made a point to stop here while in town. Worth it!! My favorite is the raspberry and tiramisu!! All are delicious, fruity, and creamy all while not being overly sweet. I appreciate the hefty amount of fruit filling. Sad I don’t live closer. Staff, maybe the owner, was very kind and gave his recommendations on his favorites.

The peach fruit dessert here is phenomenal! The space is quaint and cute. Couldn’t find a sanitation score posted here. They have lots of options with fruit desserts, cookies, and other little baked items!

The baker was so nice and welcoming. He explained the desserts we chose and was so excited to serve us. It made me excited to try his desserts because you can tell how passionate he is about his craft. I got the peach dessert and my bf got the eclipse tart. Both were exceptionally delicious!!!! I’ve never had a dessert like this in my life! Will be back soon.

Made it back here again! This place is just so cute. These owners are so dedicated, passionate and talented. I HAD to get that heart gateau again. It is my favorite and I’m not even a red velvet fan. We were in luck today because they had the pumpkins again (I’m also not a big fan of pumpkin stuff but theirs is GREAT!). I love that theirs has a perfectly sized sponge in their Trompe-l’œil, it is what sets them apart and above.
