Cute little bakery with a variety of options on pastries and breakfast items which are reasonably priced. We had empanadas, lemon cake and a croissant and two lattes. Lattes were not good! Not sure what happen but I never take things back or complain but needed caffeine. A different barista remade our coffee and it was perfect. She also stopped by to check if it was ok. Guess the previous barista was a trainee. Pastries were good not the best as it was dry. Overall service was good and cafe was clean.

Wonderful hole in the whole type pastry and coffee shop. Had the ham and cheese croissants and a scone. We went with the matcha to accompany the sweets. Everything was delicious. Croissant was flaky and fluffy. Scone wasn’t too dry or hard at all. Matcha was nice and hot.

Lots of pastry options and coffee drinks. Limited seating. Modern feel and relaxing environment.

MAJOR hipster vibes in the hipster cross-section of town, but if you can get past that, you’re in for a treat.

Coffee was amazing. Crafted to perfection and robustly delicious.

The crown jewel was the baked goods. Absolutely outstanding bagels, lemon bars and various sweet options we sampled.

Service was satisfactory. Seating is a bit limited in general and especially for groups of 3+. Some outdoor sidewalk seating.

Food: They have and open display for the pastries and there was a fly feasting on most of the pastries. Coffee was delicious, pastry was okay, I didn’t want to try due to the fly, but my husband liked his chocolate croissant.

Service: instantly made to feel unwelcomed and an inconvenience by the male barista. My husband and I came in, I’ve been wanting to try this place for months but service sets the tone for possible return, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Atmosphere: I wouldn’t say it’s kiddo friendly, it was very quiet when we walked in. I had my 2 kiddos with me, which behaved great, thankfully, but I could sense the glares from the barista, and other guests. Great for studying, or business work, but as a moms of 2 littles, I don’t think it’ll work for us.

We love the coffee at the Richland Keene location. Have had inconsistent results at the downtown Richland location. Still love their ham/cheese croissants, the best out there!

Heavy as in grossly dense and not good in flavor scone. I had a raspberry scone and it tasted kinda musty is best way to put it. Service wasn’t friendly at all. Hard to get to see baked items. I would not recommend this place:(

Great place to stop! I have not yet tried their dining, so far it has been coffee and sweets from their bakery display in the front. The cafe smells wonderful with confections, bread, and coffee in the air. There was a nice warmth from the wood fired oven, I can see me being here this winter for sure and loving that oven! I had a shortbread cookie, t was great. Not too moist, not too dough like, just right. The caramel latte was very nice, with both the caramel coming through subtle but not overpowering the espresso itself, which was lovely. I also had a doppio, and that was very good. The new espresso I believe was a Guatemala variety, and it was a excellent choice with the shortbread. Many more things to sample from Ethos! ❤️

Aug 2018 (2 visits) came in the morning for java for the road. What a surprise, It is perfect. Bakery with a cafe style menu is amazing. It has a drive through for java on the run but you could order pastries without leaving your car…what?! With an oven on site the pizza must be stellar, will include in my next visit.

7/19 recent visit – food so yummy and coffee is still strong. The donut is too refine almost healthy tasting. Needs to me a little more greasy, yep greasy. It’s a donut.
