After a bit of biking at Nocatee Community Park, we stopped here for lunch. It was conveniently less than a mile away.
We started with the Shrimp Tempura Roll which was fresh and had a nice crispy bite to it. For the main course, I had the Pork Katsu with fried rice and salad. The portion was generous, the pork was well-cooked, and the ginger dressing on the salad was yummy. I also tried a bite of my wife’s hibachi chicken which was tender and well-seasoned.
Even though we came hungry, we ended up with leftovers.
Service was outstanding! The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating.

We love Tanks Nocatee, and our visit earlier this week really satisfied my sushi craving. I need to first mention our server, Kirsten. She is a lovely person – friendly and kind, attentive but not overly so, she seems to really love serving and she does a fabulous job. Now about the food – we love the house salad…the ginger dressing is so good I could drink it, which I do with the dressing left in the bowl. I ordered the 1st Base Spicy Roll Combo: spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, and I substituted a spicy salmon roll for the spicy yellowtail roll. It was delicious – not so hot you can’t enjoy it, but definitely has some delicious heat. I also appreciated the rolls not having a lot of rice; the spicy tuna/salmon mixture had just enough rice to hold the rolls together. The serving was so generous that I took half of it home and had it for lunch the next day. My husband had hibachi chicken, half of which he took home also. Prices are reasonable, especially when you consider the quality of their food. We highly recommend Tanks in Nocatee.

Walk in at 6pm on Valentines, place is busy especially with to go orders but sat right away. Amazing service, amazing food. Our server Leo was absolutely awesome. We love it here and even on a holiday, they were outstanding.

Tanks is really casual, and that’s fine for being local in Nocatee. (We typically order on their website, which is SO user-friendly – it even shows you what you’ve previously ordered. The food is always good, hence we do take-out often. Last night we were there with friends; LEO was our server, and he was great!! Be sure to ask for him! He was patient and helpful with questions we had about some of the offerings, and his attitude showed he was happy to be there and waiting on us. A chef even stopped at our table to tease me about the huge portion I received, which was so funny because I’m small. He said Leo told him I was REALLY HUNGRY. We appreciate a sense of humor, especially when it’s coming from someone you least expect. A good meal with good friends and good hosts makes a great night.

Nocatee Tanks Sushi was amazing! The food was super fresh, and everything came out beautifully plated. The rolls were flavorful without being too heavy, and the atmosphere was really relaxing. Our server, Li, was especially friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Definitely one of the best sushi spots around!

Normal atmosphere, helpful service and decent selection. I would have given 4 star rating if 3 out 4 people ( who all had sushi) didn’t feel sick after the visit.
