We booked this restaurant for Valentine’s Day at the last minute because we were a bit late, and there were no spots left in other places, but it turned out to be an excellent choice. The food is delicious, the staff is extremely friendly, and even though communication in English is a bit challenging, using a translator for Spanish helped, and our order arrived just as it should. It might be a bit too cold inside due to the air conditioning, but overall, everything was great and definitely worth recommending. The interior is very nice—I highly recommend it. And once again, the food is absolutely delicious!

The first thing to say is that this area is historic and beautiful! The cobblestone streets and stone and wood construction is magnificent. From the valet greeting you at the door to the waiter everyone is very nice and polite. The bar is well stocked and the house cocktails are excellent. I enjoyed the steak. It was delicious and artistically plated! I wish I had taken more pictures! The decor is beautiful and the piano player is very good. I love this area and this restaurant! I will definitely be back!

Beautiful place with good food located in the casco viejo area. They have a lovely decoration and setting inside, it’s a very cozy ambiance. They also had delightful live piano music.
We tried a variety of appetizers and main courses. We absolutely loved the ceviche appetizer and the picanha as a main course, it’s a must have. The short rib dish and the tilapia were good too.
As for some other appetizers, the baos were too dry, the taco tortillas were low quality.
Dessert was just ok , we tried both the creme brulee and it was very average. The pistachio profiteroles were somewhat disappointing, not worth the calories.
We had a large group and they took very good care of all of us.

We came here for lunch during our 3 day stay in Casco Viejo. It was a Tuesday afternoon and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. We got excellent attention and service! The food and drinks were delicious and there were some kid friendly options as well. We ended up staying for dessert, too! Everyone loved it and I’d love to come back someday!

Food heaven! Bread with homemade spread with local spices, yum! Ox tail tacos as appitzer was perfect start. Catch of the day Corvina was absoulutely delicious. Happy hour, 2 for one at time of our meal. Passion fruit margaritas, very tasty. Quaint side street establishment. Owner was present and explained the history of name, Ossa. She explaines use of local ingredients, Panamanian recipes with a twist. A must try for anyone staying in Panama City!

Restaurant Ossa is on the edge of the Casco Viejo (old town) and Michelle the owner is a very welcoming hostess. Service from Jafet was excellent and he could not do enough for you. This restaurant offers a $9.99 3 course meal in classy air conditioned surroundings and is highly recommended. We made a special trip to eat here after seeing it when visiting Casco Viejo the previous day.
