Great all you can eat pricing, fast service, and delicious sushi!! I especially enjoyed the spider roll, shrimp tempura, and angel rolls! The green tea mochi was a refreshing dessert!

Get all you can eat so you can sample different things. We recommend miso soup, crab rangoon, shrimp tempura, tuna sushi, Honolulu rolls, red bean and green tea mochi ice cream. Cracking glass ball to drink white Ramune was the highlight of the night! Dallin and Kacey were terrific servers. Leah and Joe prepare the best Japanese food!

We were pleased with Kochi, surprised it’s not higher rated! It’s all you can eat for a set price, but don’t over-order because they will charge extra for uneaten food.

With what we ordered (which we ate all of, yay!) the all-you-can-eat price ended up being almost identical to what “a la carte” would have been, since we ordered some of the less-expensive simple sushi rolls. But it still felt like fair pricing for a lot of food! The sushi was great, especially the specialty rolls (the Godzilla was my favorite).

I went here with my husband twice for the AYCE and both times the sushi was amazing. The presentation was spectacular, very nice and neat looking. There is nothing I ordered that I did not like, the fish felt fresh. However, the service of this restaurant is lacking. Our waitresses seemed like they did not understand the menu and they often forgot about our requests. The restaurant was not busy both times I went. The second time I was there, my husband had to go up to the counter numerous times to place an order because our server took forever. It began to feel like a self-service restaurant. Moreover, I was surprised when my server asked me if I needed a second order sheet because I was not offered that the first time. Overall, the food is great but the service quality definitely needs improvement.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE! Lackluster service. The kitchen entrees tasted uninspired and soulless. The Philly roll was good, the tempera shrimp roll however was terrible you guys somehow forgot to cut the tail off before rolling the sushi. it also felt as if the staff didn’t want me there once so ever and I’m a paying and tipping customer.

Great place to go if you like sushi and know you’re able to eat a lot. Because this place follows an “All you can eat” format, they tend to skip out a little bit on the serving sizes. For example, the size of the cut fish for the Nigiri is quite thin. Be warned that there is a charge if you don’t finish all of the food you ordered. That aside, the food is still quite good, just unfortunate how it’s served.

I feel like this is one of the underrated restaurants in town, I personally really like food here. Good number of variety in appetizer and sushi rolls. I really like their chicken dumplings. I have been to this place many time. Staff is also friendly. Overall really good experience

Love this place. Some of the better Sushi in Bloomington at a super reasonable price. Sure you get charged more on the all you an eat for what you don’t finish, but you can order additional items at no cost so just order what you can handle and get more if you’re still hungry.

All you can eat sushi sounds like a great deal, but the old saying that you get what you pay for is definitely accurate in this case.

The sushi itself is okay. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi over the years. From San Francisco to New York. I’ve had excellent experiences and horribly mediocre. The quality of the sushi at Kochi is okay. I wish it were better, because if it were it would be easier to overlook the absolutely terrible service.

I don’t know where they find their waitstaff, but the handful of times that I’ve gone back hoping to see improvements the waitstaff just keeps getting worse. They’re inattentive, forgetful, and today just downright rude.

I’m not sure I’ll be giving Kochi another try. The experience has just been consistently bad the last few times.
