The steaks were mid….. one was not cooked to order and then we over heard the next table also say their steak wasn’t cooked to order… our other group’s table waited a lot longer for their food and they were seated first….it was mainly kids so burgers and chicken tenders…. not sure why it took incredibly long…. oh wait….the place was over crowded and stuffy…..with people lined up outside waiting for a table….on a Thurs night….. with mid tasting food . I didnt have a choice in selecting or being able to leave because of the group…. but I wouldn’t come back or recommend.
The one great thing was our server, a great lady who was on top of all our needs and apologized for the steak not being cooked to order.
We were quoted a 1-hour wait for a large party, which turned into nearly 2 hours. By that point, half of our group had already left because there was no clear communication, no updates, and no sense that anyone had an actual plan for seating us. We had kids with us who were hungry and waiting, which made the situation even worse.
What made it especially disappointing was how disorganized the host staff seemed. We were told we couldn’t be seated because a party ahead of us needed to leave first, yet nearly two hours passed and that same party was still there eating. There was no effort to offer split seating, no attempt to adjust, and no transparency about realistic timing. It felt like everything was just guesswork rather than an organized system.
For a busy restaurant that regularly handles large parties, there should absolutely be a better process for managing wait times and expectations. Overpromising and underdelivering on something as simple as seating creates a terrible experience, especially for families.
I hadn’t been to this location in a while, and this visit reminded me why. If you value your time, I’d strongly consider going elsewhere. Waiting two hours for rolls and a table just isn’t worth it. Management seriously needs to reassess how the front-of-house team communicates and handles large groups.
Went back another day & got macaroni w/o bacon it was dry & sticky not at all appetizing. They claimed they couldn’t serve green beans w/o the bacon, though. They’re literally cooked in the bacon grease, apparently. Too much grease for me.
We always ask for very light rolls & they basically argue with us not wanting to do it they just want to give you whatever burnt ones they have made at the moment, even the manager. If we’re paying for it why should it be such a big deal to not have burnt rolls & extra butter?
