When you walk in you are greeted and the brother behind the counter is so kind. He was very patient with my dad & nieces. He also is very funny. The food is amazing; I got the 6 shrimps w/ yams and potato salad. My dad loved his tripe sandwich and my nieces loved their cheeseburgers. The banana pudding was delicious and so was the peach cobbler. I love how the place is decorated. Will continue to support.

Food was amazing seriously good and the service was great. They give you what u pay for because I had leftovers and they also a super friendly and clean this is my favorite soul food place in STL ❤️❤️❤️

Tried this establishment for the first time today . Well I guess I attempted to try it as soon as I got food duty called and only got to try two scoops of spaghetti and two rib tips. The spaghetti was very good that alone will make me go back . The rib tips were more bone than meat but the sauce was good and I’m not usually a sauce person . The chicken looks and smelled amazing didn’t get a chance to try it and the fries were piping fresh. Service was good was greeted and was nice . I’ll be back on a slower day and hopefully I can enjoy the food .

I went here based on a review I saw on TikTok. The receipt from the review I saw says $12 for snoot. Why was I charged $18? The portion isn’t worth $18. I definitely won’t be back. (I got the sauce on the side)

My husband got the snoots and ribs combo. He paid $28 which I feel was overpriced. The sauce was the highlight. The snoots were unevenly cooked..some parts hard and some soft. The tips were the same..some parts hard and soft. The sides: string beans were ok but the baked beans were trash.
