I am a regular at Becky’s Breads. I go at least once and sometimes twice a week. Becky has delicious croissants and brownies and very good pour over coffee. Her croissants are not the traditional shape. Ask her why and she’ll tell you. I think it does improve them, especially as sandwich wrappers. As another reviewer said, Becky’s croissants serve as the foundation for an especially good tuna sandwich. She makes coffee in three strengths. I go middle most of the time. Very quaint place where the baker-owner usually serves you. She’s good at making just enough for the day, so get there early for best selection. Things run out, but there’s little wasted,

The tuna sandwhich here is phenomenal! The tuna comes on a delicious, flaky croissant that tastes like heaven in your mouth. The pumpkin chocolate chip bread here is my FAVORITE! Yummmmm.

There’s far more than just breads! We had the turkey croissant sandwich for lunch, and it was amazing. The Russian tea cakes were as good as, if not maybe a little better than, my mother used to make, and the french macarons were an incredible texture and very flavorful! Had a nice chat with Becky, as well. We took some sweets home with us, and everything was outstanding. HIGHLY recommended stop in Berea, whether you need a sandwich, coffee, or just a sweet treat. We’ll be back for sure. Of note, the sweets are not overly sweet like all the other shops – very refreshing! This is the kind of bakery we’ve been missing and not found elsewhere in Kentucky.

The quilt shop across the street recommended I come here for a snack before getting back on the road. I had a turkey sandwich on the most delicious buttery, flaky croissant. They had a large selection of Italian sodas as well as a variety of bakery treats. I also had the macarons in peach, vanilla, and lemon—delicious!
