The staff is very nice but the quality of food has gone out the window. You’re getting cafeteria food at restaurant prices. We ordered chicken and waffles- the chicken is like frozen ones from school lunches and the waffle was very bland. We also ordered the hash browns & corned hash – the serving size is kinda on the small size. All together including an order of biscuits was almost 40 dollars. Not worth it at all.

First time here. We visited during the weekend and place was full so we had to wait just a bit for our table. Our waitress was friendly and attentive but our food took forever to arrive and even though it tasted good there was nothing remarkable to point out about it. Now, what really bothered me was the condition of the ladies’ bathroom. It was dirty and so outdated that the tiles were literally falling apart. They need to do some remodeling as soon as possible and include a baby changing table as well.

Man, what a find! I was driving around after a brutal early morning of Amazon deliveries (you know how it is!), and I was seriously craving some good grits. I actually Googled “grits near me,” which is how I stumbled upon this place. I’d seen a review that mentioned “classic diner vibes,” and that totally sold me.
Walking in, it was like stepping into a different world although it’s a bit dated, everyone was so friendly – not just the staff, but the other customers too! I got a bunch of “good mornings” from complete strangers, which was honestly so refreshing. It felt like a real community, a family kind of atmosphere.
My server was a total sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was super helpful in guiding me to the perfect breakfast. I ordered the Chuckwagon with eggs over medium, pan sausage, home fries and a side of cheese grits. My server even pointed out a way I could save a few bucks, which I really appreciated. It’s awesome when servers are that considerate.
The food came out fast and was exactly what I was hoping for – hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I got over-medium eggs and grits, and when I poured the grits over my eggs, my server gave me a knowing look and said, “Now that’s how you do it – the classic Southern way!” That just made my day. It brought back all these memories of having breakfast with my grandparents – those classic diner breakfasts that just feel like home. It was a real nostalgia trip.
Seriously, the whole experience was just what I needed – good food, good people, and a great atmosphere. It just felt… good.
I did notice the prices were a little higher than what I saw in some older menu pics online, but honestly, with everything going on these days, it’s not surprising.
Even with the slightly higher prices, I absolutely loved this place. I’m definitely going back soon. It’s the perfect spot for a comforting, classic breakfast that just hits the spot.

I had a BLT and fries: looked appealing and tasted good. Reminds me of going back to a midwest family home. The decor is a mix of western, sports, Indian and vintage and it’s not overwhelming, just here and there. Low key early 2000’s music played overhead. It’s like walking into a working class family place, there’s a comfort here.
What is impressive and was pleasantly surprising is the staff. They are bilingual and very friendly, very attentive to exactly what you want. The atmosphere is low key, with little to no noise and the customers ages I saw were middle-aged and above.
The menu is simple, but offers enough of a variety for a bite to eat. The building has been around, but it is clean and comfortable. It is rectangular inside with seating along the walls and windows.
A very pleasant experience for lunch.

First time Chuck wagon. Cafe con leche was the best I’ve had. Our waitress Barbara was very attentive, laid back and friendly. Chocolate chip pancakes were delicious along with my over easy fried eggs and sausage links and delicious grits.. Definitely recommend and I hope to be coming back soon.

Friendly customer service! Such a cute style mom & pop place! Great portions! We both got the Eggs Benedict but the special with corn beef hash! About $16 per person, since it was the special. I got the potatoes on the side and my boyfriend got grits, we both loved it. We will definitely be back!! Hours vary just like a small business, open early and close before 3pm. Call beforehand just to make sure they are open!

Delicious home-style food in a comfy atmoshere = perfect weekend breakfast spot. I have been going to Chuck Wagon for about a year now, just about every Sunday morning. The service is always great, everyone there is very welcoming, and the food is great. I recommend the Biscuits and Gravy; the Wagon Wheel Breakfast or just a yummy veggie omelet – it’s all excellent.
