Couscous Kazoo (Couscous)
Was there on MLK day, we immediately got seated but had to wait 20 minutes until we finally got our order taken. I understand there’s a big group and it seemed pretty busy but other parties of 2 that were sat way after us had their orders taken almost immediately. Aside from that, the food came relatively quick and was decent. To top it all off, as we finished we asked for a to-go box and we had to wait another 10-15 minutes… for a box… we ultimately just decided to approach their counter, ask for a container and just pay from there. In conclusion, ok/decent food totally killed by terrible service.

The staff were really cordial and kind, and the restaurant itself was very clean and hygienic. Unfortunately, the food was not the best for me. They have very limited vegetarian options and I ordered the Bean Curd with lemongrass and chilli. It was not tofu skin as described, it was just regular tofu, and the dish tasted sweet. There was hardly any lemongrass flavor and it was loaded with bell peppers and onions. It lacked depth in flavor and I could barely taste any lemongrass at all. I was very disappointed with the dish.

It was ok, feel like the taste of the food has changed overtime. I remember the first time they had opened and I went there for the soup, it smelt and tasted so good. It felt like medicine to to my hurt throat. Tonight I went hoping for the same feeling, unfortunately didnt happen. It was dinner time so they were very busy. 5 stars for turning over the tables so fast and the staff for being attentive. It was a full house, so very loud and busy. We had soup, fried rice and mussels. The soup wasn’t hot enough, usually the rare steak will cook itself in the soup but it only somewhat cooked it. We both had the small size, but there was too much noodle, it sucked up most of the soup. The broth wasn’t as hot so I could taste the oil from the meat. There was no soup aroma that it usually has and the taste just wasn’t fresh to us. Overall, it was amazing ok experience.

Everything was exceptional, from the ample parking lot to great customer service, to savory food & plentiful portions.

The plates were big portions, I think it’s worth the price they charge for each & it does taste good. I got the Pho with brisket, tripe & tendon & it was a lot of those in the bowl for $10.95 XL. The spring rolls we’re a decent size too, then they cut it in half with the peanut sauce, sooo good. I also ordered their Thai tea with boba but it’s not blended, it’s with ice, it’s alright. The service was excellent! By the time we left the place, it was packed.

Great Vietnamese staple in Carson. Great outdoor seating, fully enclosed and covered. Very spacious. Allowed us to bring my Two wheeled stand up electric kick scooter into the outdoor area. Very accommodating. Good food, fast service. I love the house special. Right on Carson Street so can be a little loud even though the outdoor areas enclosed.

Been here a few times now and decided to give them a proper review.
It’s been since before the pandemic started and came her last night.
I ordered #69 Rice plate which comes with shrimp paste in bean curd sheet fried up real crispy, baked egg, bbq-pork chop over rice, and served with a sweet fish sauce which makes it just the right enhancement for flavor.
Wifey got their brisket pho & our daughter chowfun with different kinds of meats.
Everything was delicious and a close comparison to Pho Fula in La Habra.
The place is clean, organized, have great service that’s friendly and makes you feel at home.
The chef came out and made sure everything was great with a sense of humor.
We’ll be back to try other things on their menu.

I always make sure to have lunch here whenever I am in the area for grocery shopping.
They serve the best calamari and grilled pork bbq in a spring roll or vermicelli bowl or over rice and egg plate.
Don’t forget to order their yang chao fried rice too if you are dining in a group.
Plenty of parking too.

Good food but different than I am used to no lemongrass dishes. Most dishes are made without heat spices. There are soups instead of Phò. You won’t find salted lemonade, avocado or jackfruit smoothies. With that said they do have an extensive menu which is very tasty.

Service is not great. Upon entry no one greets to see if you’re eating in or taking to go or to ask to be seated. When actually sitting down it took a while for anyone to order or to come and ask if we were ready to order. The dry noodle bowl has way too much noodles with very small portions of veggies and protein choice. Just a bunch of noodles in a bowl. The restroom is dirty! Should have left after seeing that.
