What an adorable and amazing Thai restaurant in the heart of Kent.
Familiar favorites like Pineapple curry + Thai Iced Coffee go down easy and want you craving more, but fills you up quick!
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Very homey environment because, well…. it’s in an old home! With a yard! So cozy and welcoming.
Plenty of seating for gatherings and parking on site.
All of the food looks incredible and I’ll become a regular now. 10/10 restaurant that deserves support.

Nut allergy friendly: I had no issues with the Pad Kee Mao that I ordered nor my friend’s Grandma chicken wings.

We stopped in around 8PM on a Friday evening and it was relatively empty. A few people came in for to-go orders while we were sitting around. There were a few parking spaces and the building looks a little sketchy from the outside, but there’s cozy indoor seating.
I wasn’t that hungry, so I split a Pad See Mao with seafood with my friend (4/5). Portions were sufficient for splitting, could definitely finish it on my own if I were a bit hungrier. There was a good amount of balance between vegetables (carrot, broccoli, bell pepper, onion) and seafood (shrimp, squid, and mussels). The spice level was as-expected and very reasonable. Noodle texture was nice and chewy. It wasn’t the best pad see mao I’ve had (especially since it was a bit pricier, around $26 after tax and tip), but it was solid enough that I’d go again if I were in the area.
I tried my friend’s Grandma Wings, which had a better portion than I expected (I think there were six?). Nice crisp and good flavor, but I didn’t think it was anything crazy (3.5/5).
The Thai Tea here was too sweet for my taste, personally. My friend enjoyed it.
Overall, solid experience here for a fast bite of good Thai food. I’d come back if I was craving Thai in the area.

Food was really good we had their wonton soup, shrimp fried rice, yellow curry and their shrimp bikini. Authentic thai flavor, everything came out hot and fresh, crunchy and savory. Love their Shrimp Bikini, it was crunchy, their Yellow Curry was perfect, their wonton soup was so hearty, and the fried rice tasted like the real deal. Definitely would come here again.

Ordered Pad Thai with chicken for delivery. Requested 3 starts and when received I feel like it was 6 stars. Other than that portion was VERY generous I had enough food for 2 full meals for myself. Flavors outstanding.

Cleanliness brought this to a 4. The food was amazing I had the Golden Garlic with Beef and Crab Rangoon’s both were over the top good. They really need to spend a couple Bucks and replace the carpet. I will definitely eat here again. Also a little pricy my luchywith no drink was 32.

This place looks small outside but they got good space inside and great atmosphere. Food was excellent, a nice variety of flavors and actually felt more authentic. Dunno how allergen safe they can be for gluten, But they easily removed eggs from my order.

26jan2022 ~12:00 Swee and i arrived at Grandma Thai Cusine, Kent WA for lunch. We were the only 2 to dine-in. i noticed Grandma were busy preparing for many called-in Takeout orders. Anyway, we didn’t have to wait long before we got our Pad See Ew and Red Curry The servings were generous .. we can’t finish it .. so “doggie bagged” the remainings for dinner Grandma was clean and neat; un-pretentious and cozy.
