The view of the lake might be nice, but that alone doesn’t make up for mediocre food and the long wait times. If you’re charging steakhouse prices, the quality and service should match—and here it just didn’t.
Definitely not worth the drive or the money. I won’t be going back.
A special occasion dining with my godfather and sharing an evening together. We sit down and order a new york strip and a king cut prime rib.
Upon arrival our food is hot and fresh, and perfectly prepared. All the while our service is top notch and the promptness warrants a compliment.
From the first bite his new york strip was tender and hot, and to the last as good as the first.
My prime rib was without equal. The best I’ve had in a restaurant. Everything was as it should be.
The best steaks in Northeast Indiana for my money. And the overall experience was one I’ll remember.
No complaints, nothing but satisfaction and warm memories. I highly recommend this establishment.
Started with crab cakes appetizer and salads. She had the filet mignon with potatoe soup and I had the sirloin with baked potato. Both steaks were cooked to our preference, we took the chocolate lava divine cake home. The whole night was wonderful and will be repeated.
The Adams Lake Pub is more than a just a Pub. I think of it as an upscale restaurant with a semi-casual feel.
Make a reservation, as they get full quickly.
Cleanliness is 10/10
Service is 10/10
Food is 10/10
Drinks are 10/10
Ambiance is 8/10 only because the interior is outdated. I’d rather have 10/10 food than 10/10 ambiance with 7/10 food…
The portions are fairly large, so be advised. We ate an appetizer and bread before our fantastic meals, and barely had room to finish them.
The blackened catfish is outstanding, and even better than when I caught and cooked my own. It is wild-caught catfish and is not over seasoned.
My dish was a bed of long grain wild rice with a large catfish residing atop. Besides it, a loaded baked potato that looks to be from Texas with how massive it is.
Overall, the ambiance is great, though it is indeed outdated. There are a handful of fish tanks that kids and adults love, as well as a nice view from the deck/patio. They have a handful of liquors to pour at reasonable prices.
The main event, for me, is in their fish selections. They are incredibly delicious and fresh. Does not disappoint.
I’m only sad they’re not open every day. It is truly a delight to dine here.
