Wonderful place! Clean and well decorated. The food is amazing and the people there are so helpful explaining the food choices. We sit at the bar and they even ask us what channel we wanted to watch on the TV. Felt like home and family.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate after a Christmas show as a family. When we arrived we were told there was a party that was going to be there but that we were going to be alright to still eat there. We sat down and ordered drinks and the usual cheese dip. The cheese never came. We then ordered food. We waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, it arrived. The adult dishes came out first then we were just waiting on the kids meals. I was able to finish my entire meal before the kids meals arrived. Once they arrived, put kids took a bite of the chicken and it was RAW. not undercooked. Not a little pink, but RAW. The experience as a whole was terrible. The manager played the blame game saying we should have never been there and like the raw chicken was somehow our fault. There are better options close by.

Update 4/02/25
I find myself frequently returning to Tequilas because of their excellent food and customer service. Two staff members worthy of honorable mention are Kim, a nursing student and Jake, military son and Solar Energy entrepreneur. They greet us with a genuine smile and sincere effort to provide an exceptional dining experience, whether dining in or getting food to go. My favorite is the table side guacamole which is mixed and seasoned to perfection. The red sauce is a custom blend that is so much better than grocery brands that I now buy it by the pint. Everything on the menu is great but the fried ice cream has me cheating on my diet it is so incredibly tempting. It’s an easy in and out with ample parking that makes the whole experience a breeze. I love many of our fine restaurants in Hendersonville and Tequilas is at the top of the list.

This is an excellent Mexican restaurant right there within feet of Sol Y Luna, which is also great. The food is genuine. The staff is friendly and helpful and the whole environment is very enjoyable with a huge TV at the bar Great beers on tap and some of the best guacamole anywhere.

What a beautiful restaurant!

We had dinner tonight at the new TEQUILA’S (#2) Restaurant on Brevard Road in Laurel Park. We spent the first few minutes at our table just looking around the restaurant. The interior decoration is awesome: the painted ceiling, perforated ceiling lights, painted tables, furniture with colorful ceramic inlays—authentic Mexican and delightful.

And, like the TEQUILA’S off of Four Seasons Boulevard, the food was wonderful—generous portions at reasonable prices. Our server—and the manager—were very attentive and wanted to be sure we were enjoying our dinner.

If you’re plannng a night out at a Mexican restaurant, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you give TEQUILA’S a try . . . The photos were taken at around 5:30 p.m.; by the time we left, just about every table was occupied.

(Full disclosure: I’m not related to the owners and have no financial interest in the restaurant.)

We absolutely love tequilas. We recently moved into the area so the one on Highway 64 is closer. We would drive to the one on 4 Seasons Blvd. and past six other Mexican restaurants. Great food, decent prices, friendly atmosphere great staff. If you’re looking for the absolute Mexican experience, try out either tequilas 64 W. or 64 E.

I was given the wrong order. My online order doesn’t even match. I was like fine, my mistake, I accidentally ordered the wrong thing. And the wrong thing didn’t even match the menu description. So the menu says THREE quesobirrias. I had ordered one of those. Called. Was told no, it’s just two. Attached a screenshot to prove otherwise. $15 for each of those, and they’re not even that good. None of this really tastes like authentic Mexican food. Also, $8.50 for 3 tiny churros and a scoop of ice cream? Overpriced for subpar food in small portions.

This review is for the new Tequila’s #2, which is in the town of Laurel Park, next to the Laurel Park Village shopping center. (I haven’t eaten at Tequila’s #1 in some time, but this second location seems to have a different vibe; smaller, more relaxed.)

It’s my go-to Mexican restaurant now, not only because it’s in my community, but because it’s really good. The food is delicious, prices are reasonable and portions are huge. The extensive renovation work is very attractive. Good to have another Mexican restaurant in Laurel Park. Attached is a photo of the pollo ranchero, but I also enjoy their carne asada, chile colorado and other dishes I’ve tried. My food generally comes out very quickly.

For me one thing that really stands out is the service. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and so courteous! That really completes the experience for me.
