Absolutely love this place. I’ve been here about four times now, and it never misses. I always order the beef bulgogi with the loaded fries, and it’s unreal every single time. My go-to move is mixing the fries, rice, and beef together the flavors come together perfectly and it’s honestly incredible. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and filling, and the portions are solid. On top of that, the vibes are amazing great atmosphere, chill energy, and just an all-around enjoyable place to eat. This spot has become a regular for me, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend if you’re craving Korean food done right.

This place had me doing the happy to dance while eating! The food was delicious and the K-Pop music complimented the atmosphere. My wife and I have been to Korea and we can confirm, the food is authentic and we thoroughly enjoyed our date night! I recommend the Spicy Pork Bulgogi!

I went during dinner; I got the bibimbap with sides.
I would get the bibimbap in the stone. Owl next time. Everything was delicious especially the banchan. My favorites were the cucumber, fish cakes, kimchi and jalapeño pickled radish. If you’ve wanted to try kimchi but haven’t been scared to try this is the place to come. It’s tangy with good flavored but mild.
The staff is very friendly but it did take a while to get the check. I left full and couldn’t finish because there was so much food. The bibimbap was traditionally made with equal amounts of the toppings. For those who are needing more protein, an option on the menu to double the meat would be nice.

david & elisa were great, food was so good as well, we came twice in the same week & we ate it up, i crave the food every week & knowing that it is being prepared well, makes it so worth it. the manager there is so sweet, he made us feel welcomed & cared for while we were enjoying our food. he came to ask how we liked drinking the rice wine we were wanting to try & he expressed the korean culture of drinking it a certain way, made us feel included to the korean culture, it was a great time, thank you

Mixed first impression at Kokiri. The atmosphere was great and the music set a nice mood. We started with the appetizers, which were delicious, and the Bulgogi itself was good. The white rice served with the main course was hard and tasted stale. While the staff was initially helpful with recommendations, they never checked back on us once the food arrived, despite the restaurant not being busy. More concerning were the fruit flies around our table and the lack of toilet paper in the restroom. It was Valentine’s Day, so perhaps it was just an off day, but I’m not sure if this is the usual standard.

Update: Went again for lunch around noon on a Monday. Only two other tables sat 2 people each. It took 49 minutes to get my order. They had about 6 workers present. The waiter forgot my water, went to get them at the counter, the server was coming out with them and didn’t wanna hand them to me, I had to grab them. Pointless to try and take them when I was there to get them already. They didn’t visit the table to ask if anything was needed. DO NOT GO FOR LUNCH WAY TOO SLOW. The seafood soup was good but not worth the wait.
It was okay. The food was expensive for the quality. The bowl i got had very little protein for the price. Rice was about a half cup. I get that MAYBE the toppings are more expensive, strong maybe, but we all know rice is cheap so at least put more rice. Left me hungry still. The soup had very little meat and vegetables also for the price and the broth wasn’t flavorful. The staff was friendly but not attentive. The best thing was the 5 dollar ice cream. The kpop videos they played were entertaining. Good for a one time visit, but not for repeat buisness. Meh at best.

Ugh! I had built this place up in my mind and I was disappointed. I arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and it was not busy. The interior is beautiful, clean, minimalist decor in light colored wood and furniture with a large screen (?) over the counter playing kpop videos. I was a little sad because not one BTS or Ateez video ever came up I normally get my Korean at Wa Gabose so it’s as authentic as you’re going to get in the Valley- but they close at 3. As a bistro, I knew the selection here would be limited. They were out of the whole Korean fried chicken. The server recommended the classic Korean tenders with a cheese powder. I also ordered a kimchi pancake. The pancake had a crispy bottom but taste gummy on the inside like maybe the center needed to cook just a touch more. I’ve made kimchi pancake a few times. I would have liked the filling drained better and sliced more thinly. It had a much more bitter taste than I normally expect for fermented kimchi and the flavor of an additional spice I could not make out. The chicken tenders were lackluster. I don’t think they season the flour or chicken before frying because they had no flavor whatsoever. The addition of the cheese powder did nothing to enhance the chicken at all. It tasted like the cheese powder you put over popcorn. Sometimes I hyperfixate on a place until I get to try it and then I don’t have to ever go back again.

Broth of the ramyun in my opinion didnt really pack much of a flavor for me to enjoy the meal bite after bite while my moms plate, the korean seafood pancake came out a bit burnt which made her experience unenjoyable and she felt the flavor of the plate was overpowered by the onions while both the clam and the shrimp were no bigger than a dime and hard to find.
As for the customer service our waiter was great and very attentive to us while also suggesting food for us considering it was our first visit there.
The atmosphere on the other hand was a bit loud with the constant music that did lead to me having a small headache after we left along with the multiple screens right beside us that did give me a slight visual strain.
